Good experience

Ordered 2 corsets on black friday, arrived in january. (About 1,5 weeks after estimate, due to them running out of a component for the corset).
The vest itself looks amazing and fits well.
Am probably going to get another one in the future, once I figure out what colors i want next.

Prepare to be ghosted

I ordered a vest and used a picture they had on their website as a reference of the colors I wanted. When I received the vest, the colors were completely off (as in green and black instead of two blues). When I questioned them about it, they blamed it on the fact that the lighting can affect the color of photos. To me the difference is so abysmal it might as well have been an edited photo. But regardless, they failed to let me know beforehand that the colors would not be the ones seen on the picture. In my opinion, if a client gives you a picture and says they want those colors, you do those colors, not the ones you used in real life, if they are so different.

After that they ghosted me and never made any attemp to help. I would have been fine with a replacement.

Now I received a bill from FedEx for the shipping, even though I payed with shipping included. So I get the feeling the money was claimed for shipping but never used for that.

Terrible service and the worst part is, honestly, the ghosting.

Great product.

I Have had a Great experience with innova. I have received my corset vest ordered on the 12th September and received on the 16th October quite quick considering how far they are from the U.K. I was a bit fearful of some of the other reviews I have seen about them but I took the chance and so glad I did. Considering I made a request for change of fabric it Well made and material is great quality The communication from them is a bit slow but not bad (considering the time difference) enough for me not to use them again. I’m not sure if they are actually the ones doing the sewing but it would explain the communication being what it is but I’d rather that than spending all day sending out emails holding up production.

Almost a year later and no corset.

Ordered a corset in July. In October, they finally sent material options. Got it in December, but I had lost weight and didn't update my measurements (my fault). They said they would alter it so I shipped it back mid December. Early March they said they were shipping it. It is now May, I have not received, no tracking number, and they have stopped responding to my emails.

I think they are overwhelmed and don't know how to handle their business. A little communication goes a long way.

It’s gorgeous

I received my order and I love it. It’s gorgeous.

My purchase was in March and it arrived on May 6th. My shipping date was May 30 and it arrived 3 weeks early. I had an excellent experience

Wrong size, they kept the return i sent for modification

Wrong size, horrible customer experience

I ordered a corset in March 2023, sent all the measurements with photos, but in the summer when i got it the size was clearly wrong, and was ill fitting. I asked if i could send it back, and i would pay for the modifications. After many months of asking, i got a shipping label in November for the return, which they confirmed as received. From that, they mostly stopped answering me.

Paid for corset vests over 4 years ago but have never received our order.

My husband and I each ordered, and paid for, leather corset vest for this company on 10/1/2020 that we still have not received. We have sent them numerous emails regarding this matter but they will not reply to us. We just want them to make our best for us or refund us our money, but they refuse to return any of our messages. Horrible company. Don’t order anything from them unless you want to just throw your money away

Order in July 2023 months and nothing

My fiancé Ordered in July 2023 for our wedding in February 2024 and it’s now a week before December. There was a lot of communication but a bit slow, but it was just the same “it will be here in time, trust us” it wasn’t until last week of November they actually started asking a few questions about the design. And wasn’t even the colours I wanted. Told us that it would be dispatched by the end of November. There is no way that was going to happen. So asked for a refund and they replied back instantly without question and completed the request. There was no support or any other messages asking why or sorry or anything. I’m not sure why it takes so long. The other reviews closer resemble my experience and should have looked at them prior to purchasing. Disappointing as their products look really good.

Lost Order

I placed my order back in February. Said it should come to me in the middle of April. I never received my order. When I contacted the merchant. Samuel "the designer" said I had to take it up with USPS. I've been dealing with this for months. Then in June Samuel said they would take care of it. Still to this day nothing. And they stopped replying to emails. Worse company ever!!!!! Complete Trash

I’m in love with my Corset

I’m in love with my Corset Vest. I almost cried when I tried it on. It’s true that it took a lot of time to receive it, but thats mentioned in the Website with the dead line.

Honestly-

Honestly, not even worth it. I spent over $450 on my vest, for it to not be the right colors or measurements. I sent them photos of my measurements, the exact fabric colors, and even the website for one of the fabrics and they still got it wrong. One side of my vest has a weird gap because the sides are uneven, and the front closures don’t line up because of this too. The vest is /nearly/ un-useable and now I have no time to find an alternative before my wedding because even though I ordered in June, I received it in December (they told me October.) Anyone getting married knows when you ask for a custom fit white and periwinkle piece of clothing and are given an unfitting green-ish hued blue and grey, it’s a major difference. I had to spend more money changing my entire outfit around this. And the communication is very poor, I even reached out to them to express I’m unhappy and asked for a resolution and have heard nothing. I really don’t recommend them at all, choose anyone else.

Customer service is horrible

We ordered a custom vest for my fiancé in March 2022, when we tried to contact them about 6 months later, since their website said pieces are completed in about 6 months, we never heard back. We tried multiple times to find out where our order was and it wasn't until I blasted them on instagram that we got a response. Their excuse was, it had been put on hold. In this email they also sent us a picture of the 'copper fabric' we wanted for the piping, the fabric was red satin, I'm quite sure if we had gotten the item it would have clashed so badly with our theme we couldn't have used it.
By this time (Jan 2023) I had contacted my bank to get the nearly $500 back, the company contacted us almost 2 weeks later saying they saw the bank request and would refund the money. No apologies, no attempt to make things better. Do not buy from them, they are inconsistent and terrible at customer service.

They won't actually make you a corset

I ordered a corset in February to be completed in September 2022. It is January 2023 and I still have not been sent more than 2 fabric swatches that I did not like. I cannot express how disappointed I am. We were going to use the corset from Innova for my fiance's wedding vest, but ultimately had to choose a different outfit. I requested a refund and they just said they would send me new swatches back in November with no new swatches since then.

They sure do have plenty of time to post on social media. :/ I wish they'd just give me a refund, but they'll probably just keep the nearly $400 I spent on a waste of time and effort.

EDIT: I have now received a refund.

Bad communication

Positives: Love their product offering, really great to see lots of great examples of their work on their Instagram page

Negatives: Like the previous reviews have stated, I found their communication to be poor. They showed little to no care. I ordered my corset a few months before the occasion I wanted it for, and it arrived the day after the event. I emailed several times explaining the date I needed the corset for and offered three times to pay extra for speedy postage but they were slow to reply and didn't post it on an expedited delivery

In summary; great product idea, but really bad communication. I'd suggest ordering at least 6 months in advance to slow delivery and some time to take the corset to a local tailors if it doesn't fit right.

For the amount of money it costs, I'd expect a bit more customer care

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague. These people are scammers. I have ordered a corset vest in October 2021 and given them my measurements and the picture and colour of the vest I wanted. Per their policy.

After confirming my details I have received no communication for 6 months. The corset arrived and it looked hidious! With massive polka dots. Like circus wear. I paid $350 plus waited over 6 months for it.

I told them that I was dissatisfied and they told me to post them back and they would fix it. They told me that I just had to use the same label used and go to a FedEx branch. I drove over an hour to do that and when I got there, they lied, I had to call the company in Puerto Rico and receive a code for it to be shipped back.

Extra money for petrol and international call.

The corset got there 3 days later. I told them that I needed it for my birthday, a month and a half from that point.

No communication.

After my birthday passed I asked for a refund.

They lied about approving a refund.

I had to chase them every day for this.

It is now October 2022 and I still don’t have the full refund

Disappointing…

The reason that this is 2 stars is because they gave a full refund and took responsibility for their lack of communication. I had an event in April planned and was told to expect it around April 17th. They did not answer me about the corset till around the end of May. Multiple emails sent, multiple DMs, and what got an answer was posting on their Instagram posts asking why they aren’t answering. They post on Instagram everyday…It seems they are more interested in the online appearances business wise than their actual customers and orders.

Poor communication, poor delivery time, wont listen to customer

I ordered my custom vest in April of 2021, they told me they would work on it in August. August is nearly over with no word from them. What ensues is me sending several emails to them that get ignored for weeks, a mistaken shipping notification for my order going to another country entirely, and the fact they will only respond to you if you post on their public posts and not through their customer service email.

In October I finally get my first fabric samples they are plain but bright and it's easy to tell they are going to put in the minimum effort for this project. I settle in a neon pink, a medium purple, and bright blue for the colors of the corset. They tell me the front and back panels will be purple and the sides blue.

They give themselves a deadline of friday to get it done and dont even meet their own second appointed deadline. It does ship eventually though and I'm grateful for this ordeal to be over. I get it a couple of days later and excitedly open it to discover...they had completely changed one of the colors. The bright blue is now a dark almost black navy blue. Purple is only in the front instead of in two places and best of all? They ignore my message for a whole day (while posting on social media) before answering me.

And their response? "Hello Jade! Hope you are doing well.

Thanks for contacting us.

From the photo you sent, it seems darker indeed and thats something we didn’t noticed choosing the fabrics to complete your order.

Apparently we took a different shade of blue instead of the bright one by mistake.

We have actually in the workshop a few different shades of blue."

No offerings to make it better, not even an apology. Just that it happened. When I ask how they are going to make it right? I get two options. 1. Keep it and accept this very expensive mistake or 2. Send the vest back for a full refund.

No partial refund offered, no offer to fix the mistake they Admitted they made. Just those two. I don't know of it's because they're so busy they dont care about their clients or if it's because they dont want someone heavy set to wear their custom clothes or what but this company didn't give a crap about me.
