Awful experience and still waiting for them to honour their guarantee

Worst experience with this company who have failed to meet the obligations of their contract with me and conducted themselves poorly, including:
-entering my garden without permission when they were aware I was not home, and digging up a gravel drain between patio and lawn without permission (see photo of channel dug up and barely filled with rough edges exposed).
- not informing me of when they would be turning up which meant I was waiting home some days expecting them, then turning up days I was not present.
- patronising and mansplaining, including refusing to listen to the size and location I wanted a shed base, which resulted in my paying a different company to do it.
- written quote itemised £300 for a skip they did not provide, instead dumping waste onto my driveway which blocked my drains.
- poor installation of patio that breached building regulations (see photo - patio installed less than 75mm from airbrick).
- not meeting the agreement or guarantee outlined in my written agreement.
- patio was not laid with a fall towards the garden which causes pooling of water on the grass. That killed the grass (see photo).
- in the last photo, you can see the pooling on my patio versus my neighbour's one which has the correct fall.

Several companies came to quote for redoing the work. They were unimpressed by the work they saw and all highlighted the same issues. One company offered to provide support to a third party if required to back up my claim that the work is substandard.

I found it to be an incredibly stressful company to deal with. The professionalism of the website does not reflect my experience. The website mentions photographic and geological survey and soil analysis. That sounds grand but I saw no evidence of what is mentioned on their website.

They seemed very good with the quote and were responsive before they started which is why I chose them. My experience went downhill once I paid the deposit.

Complaints I have made have resulted in them dismissing, minimising, blaming and painting me as unreasonable rather than addressing the evidence and facts I have presented to support (of which I have given them many images and videos that they cannot reasonably dispute). I suspect any response they make to this review will be similar.

They have not responded to my formal written complaint in which I suggested several options for remedies and stated clearly I would be willing to listen to other proposals they put forward or go to mediation to resolve this.

I will reluctantly take formal legal action. I will be reporting to Trading Standards also.

My impression was that they didn't care about doing a decent job with my garden because it wasn't a very valuable job for them. I'd emphasise that if you want to risk using this company do not pay by bank transfer - choose a protected method like credit card.

Edit: this company had no online reviews until I posted this one. They deleted one of my reviews. I can provide evidence of all my comments. How does a company with '35 years' experience and so many good-looking photos on their website have no online reviews until October 2024? I mean, the company could just come back and work with me to resolve my complaint rather than attempt to hide my review with others.
