Let me tell you an incident with the egotistical master hip surgeon, Stefan Kreuzer, owner of inov8
But first I want to mention that Vansedia and Sam Dalal are great, if it were not for them I would have left a long time ago. I have been going to inov8 since 2019.
Facts leading to me firing Kreuzer as my surgeon and leaving inov8:
1) Kreuzer loves talking about himself and bad mouthing all other surgeons.
2) Being a x-runner from UofH (1982) track, I know a lot of athletes and coaches from all sports. Because of Sam and Vansedia I recommended both of them to many I know. Approx 10 people I know went to Inov8 based on my recommendation. Never a thank you from the owner Kreuzer.
3) I had right hip surgery by Kreuzer in Dec of 2025; medicare paid all the bills.
4) Had PT with Sam Dalal in 2026 and paid my deductible and medicare paid the rest.
5) About June while going to PT, the front desk tells me I have a past due amount. I explain how can that be and ask for a copy of bill which they could not supply.
6) in mean time, my left hip is hurting bad so I make an appointment and am setup with Kreuzer again.
7) When I get to appointment, the front desk again states I have a past due. I state again that their is no way but I am willing to sit down with the account dept and go over the bill since I never got a bill and have no clue what it is for.
8) The staff has xrays done of my hip and then put me in room to wait on Kreuer.
9) Kreuzer finally walks in and sternly asks me, with bunch of staff behind him, "why can't you pay your bill from 2023 and I cannot do surgery on you until you pay your bill". I explain to him that I have no clue about bill since office never gave me copy. He states that he will send in his accounting person to give me bill and states again that he cannot do surgery on me until bill is paid and did not care it was from 2023 and that I did not know anything about it.
10) Accounting person shows up and shows me an excel printout that she states shows they sent out invoices for past year but again never gives me anything in hand to review.
11) I explain, if this bill is from 2023, how was it not brought up when I had surgery in Dec of 2025 and not brought up while coming in for PT until June of 2026. Accounting person could not answer.
12) So I ask accounting person, you are telling me, Kreuzer is refusing me medical treatment based on a bill from 2023 that I was never given and she stated yes. So I ask to make sure of the insanity I am hearing, I brought in about 10 new patients to inov8 and you are telling me Keurzer is refusing me medical treatment over a $200 bill, and how much money did he make off my referrals. She verifies again, no payment, no treatment.
13) I leave in disgust
14) I get home and cannot believe what just happened so I call and speak to the accounting person again and go over all the above and she states she will speak to Kreuzer and get back to me. Never got a call but I did finally get a copy of the 2023 bill in the mail. It is apparent that no one has the balls at inco8 to question or condemn Kreuzer's manic episodes.
Avoid invo8 as long as Kreuzer owns it. He does not deserve to profit from the good Drs working there.
