Avoid at All Costs: Amateur Quality, Zero Accountability, and Broken Promises
I hired Indisea Consulting for what should have been a straightforward HubSpot onboarding and integration project. We were quoted a 4-6 week timeline. We are now four months in, the project is still not finished, and I am left with a system riddled with errors.
If you are considering Indisea, save your money and your sanity. Here is the reality of working with them:
Abysmal Project Management: Scope management is non-existent. I found myself having to chase them down repeatedly for basic deliverables. There were multiple-week stretches where communication went completely dark. For a professional consulting firm, this level of "radio silence" is unacceptable.
Low-Quality Deliverables: The technical work is bottom-tier. They do not thoroughly test anything before handing it over. I am constantly finding errors that should have been caught in a basic QA process. To make matters worse, they provide almost zero documentation, leaving us with a "black box" system that we can’t even troubleshoot ourselves.
Empty Leadership Promises: At one point, we were so frustrated that their Chief Experience Officer (CXO) got involved. He said all the right things on the call and promised to get the project back on track. It was all theatre. Absolutely nothing changed after that call; it was just more of the same incompetence.
The Upfront Payment Trap: I now realize why they demand full payment upfront: because if they billed based on milestones or performance, they would never get paid. Once they have your money, you lose all your leverage.
I feel like I’ve paid a premium price for a service that has actually hindered my business instead of helping it. I am now stuck seeking a refund that I know will be met with a wall of excuses.
Bottom line: Do not trust their sales pitch. They overpromise, under-deliver, and lack the basic technical discipline to manage a HubSpot integration. Find a partner who actually values your time and your business.
