We have been having all the same…

We have been having all the same problems. My advice is to contact Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council Housing standards department they employ Inspex and need to be made aware of how Inspex are behaving. There needs to be a Policy Document on how inspections should be carried out. Can tenants belongings be photographed without their permission? Who is decided the interpretation of the housing standards. There needs to be uniformity in how these are interpreted.

Inspex

Like Nigel, I failed an inspection due to the lightbulb in the bathroom being blown, and a stain on the ceiling.
Had to do a second inspection where He claimed the oven was not suitable. Same oven as 1st inspection.
Inspex were late to both inspections and each inspection takes an hour.
One problem is they give you a letter saying you are in contravention of SI 137(2019) but don't explain where they getting the faults from. eg. SI137 doesn't mention paint stains weeping through.
Everything is photographed without tenants consent and RTB give Inspex tenant info without tenant consent

This company appointed by Hap is at best incompetent and is driving landlords out of the market thus amplyfying our housing crises. I am bringing this report i got on a beautiful house to the public domain as point 1 the tiles in the bathroom at 2 mm below the window this needs to be rectified... now will the guy from inspex that came to the house please go into dublin city tonight and tell the freezing people on the streets that they should not go to my house as the tiles are slightly below the window... only in Ireland can this happen and also inspex please tell me why the inspector who went to my house cant sign the letter ... is he ashamed of the nonsence he put down ... i will try get Richard Downes from primetime to show the nation what i got and how this property is absolutley beautiful and safe for my clients.... point 2 was a lightbulb my tenants are in the house 2 years now surely and when they entered the property all bulbs were in place should i ring tenants everyweek and run around changing lightbulbs ... the tenants blocked the vent in the lounge because it was cold when i unblock they will block again should i stay in the lounge 24 / 7 please explain absolute joke that needs to be highlighted
