My Personal Bad Experience

In December 2023, the Instacoins website wouldn't allow me to do transaction by card or ACH/Wire Transfer. Turns out I needed another browser (not Brave, Chrome, or Internet Explorer). Before knowing this, I resorted to doing an ACH transfer to Instacoins via my business bank on December 15th.

I saw the money come out of my account. And my bank confirms that Instacoins received it by December 18th. They even provided a trace ID for the transaction. As of January 2024, Instacoins refuses to accept the trace ID because they didn't generate it. They (Instacoins) tell me it was unsuccessful. They ask for my name and bank details which I provided. They ask for date sent and amount, which I provided. They ask to verify that I sent it to the correct Instacoins routing number and account number, which I provided. It was all correct.

Instacoins is not crediting my account because the transaction originated from outside of Instacoins when the Instacoins website wouldn't allow me to originate the transaction from Instacoins. They ask for a wire receipt, but my bank only does wire receipts for incoming. For outgoing, my bank does ACH transfers. That was the point of the trace ID.

Instacoins keeps asking for the same information repeatedly, they tell me I've only provided general details (account number and trace ID are very specific), and Instacoins won't compile it to elevate it to the correct department. My money is lost in the system and now I'm left trying to resolve it with my bank for the merchant refusing payment. Instacoins refuses to legitimize the transaction, with all the proof given, all because Instacoins didn't originate the transaction.

****Update*****
Four days after posting this, Instacoins acknowledged that funds were sent. Although I did go on their website to give them a "heads-up" when the money was sent in December, they claim they did not know where to attribute the money. They now say they reversed the payment and now my bank (Found) is denying receiving reverse payment. Instacoins cannot provide a wire receipt for the transaction. I'm asking them for proof so I can now get Found to work with me as they want to close this ticket.

***1/13/2024 Update***
Samuel from Instacoins has been the MVP of this process. When he steps in, things get done!
He provided the proof I needed to pass along to Found. Found reopened the ticket and will see what they can do about getting the funds back in my account.

Not good

Not good experience.
Should be more efficient and reliable.
I said to call in 2 hrs. I answered when you called. The phone hang up in my ears. I guess it was just to prove that you called. However, I took my business somewhere else.

Horrible Company

After wrting this recieved email and now my accoutn is all back to normal....

Horrible company.
I had an acount with them for many years, over covid not realy used. it.

When I went to log in the other day they requested new ID so while talking to live chat i uploaded new ID.

Then for no reason they decided to close my account.

I have done nothing wrong apart not use for a long time.

They will not give me a reason to why they closed and have asked many times to know why. But they fail.

This is not a very good way to do business.

Shouldnt be allowed to operate if you ask me......

absolute rubbish.

How on earth can you edit a passport.

How can you say Ive editited it I used that document to have an acount with you In the first. Place.

my passort is my main ID i use it for banks and everything secure.

you realy do need to get yor facts straight and be honest.

My photo of my passport can not be editited the only editing done was cropped.

Dear lord give me strenght....

an email was sent to you mentioning that your documentation had to be renewed since your proof of ID was expired.

You were asked to provide a selfie holding the new passport in hand, however the documents sent by yourself did not match this request.

Moreover, the document sent to us has clearly been edited, resulting in the automatic suspension of the account. Kindly note that we are not referring to the photo being edited.

Nonetheless, we will get in touch with you and we'll be more than happy to have you on-board once again, provided that a non-edited proof of ID is presented to us.

Once again, we kindly ask you to provide a selfie holding the mentioned passport, as per original request sent to you by email.

Good service

Good service, paid and received coins very quickly. Website was simple enough to use I guess. Price seemed competitive compared to other sites. Good site to use

I have used Instacoins a few times now

I have used Instacoins a few times now. Every time I have some spare cash I get myself some BTC to HODL in my Ledger wallet. Their platform is super simple to use and low fee's make it basically just easy to come back and use again and again. Remember everyone always store your crypto on your own wallet. HODL

The worst place to buy btc

The worst place to buy btc.

I used to use them as a intermediary to get my btc , it worked fine till the last time .
I asked to deposit 100$ in btc , science I sent it thru my bank I calculated the rate and I sent exact 100$. Day by day I was looking on my wallet and there’s no deposit so I contacted them . They told me they got some fees from their bank and I have to send 160$ more to get only 100$ in btc!!! So basically they tried to scam me for 160$!
Next when I asked for my refund they hold my money for multiple reasons. I still didn’t get my refund and they ask me multiple stupid questions even if I sent everything already
