After 11 years of building my Instagram account as a professional tattoo artist, it was suddenly disabled with serious accusations that are completely false. My page was my portfolio, my income, and how clients contact me. Gone overnight.

I followed every appeal option they gave me. Submitted ID. Contacted support. All I got were automated replies and zero real explanation. No proper human review. No clear evidence. Just a permanent suspension.

Because of this, I’ve now had to hire a lawyer and pay thousands out of my own pocket just to try and fix what appears to be an obvious system error. A small business owner should not have to take legal action just to be heard.

This has affected my income, my reputation, and my mental health. Meta talks about “community” but there is no support when their AI makes a mistake. It feels like small creators are disposable.

If you rely on Instagram for your business, just know your entire livelihood can disappear overnight — and you’ll be left fighting a billion-dollar company on your own.

Account suspension is quick. Data usage is high.

Support system is slow. Content copy is high, and time is wasted on reels.

Privacy protection seems weak. The number of fake Id's high.

Do not use this instgram account. She will come to your house. Take the casts, message you 101 excuses why theres a delay. Been waiting over 1 year for my childs hand casts. He luck. She has the cheek to continue messaging excuses with no proof. All the photos on the website are fake.

Instagram became a very toxic environment. Users can post the most hateful comments/messages without worrying because Instagram doesn't care.

Than after I succeeded it permanenty asks for code verification, but nothing is sent, althoug my Email adress has already been used and verified.

Sex exploitation, sums up this site. Had on my reel an ai sex chat/create so or something as depressing. Flagged the ad as it’s inappropriate. Email back saying it’s perfectly ok. Delete, instagram and facebook off the back of that response. Sexual degradation is not against their standards! My account was hacked. I have my email under control, but some hacker changed my phone number. And, unbelievably, there's nothing I can do. My account is unusable. The recovery system is completely inefficient, and there's no response or decent customer service. You're left stranded with a ton of photos you can't even delete. Even taking a screenshot to verify the recovery doesn't work. I've stopped trying because they don't respond. Silence. It might be a wonderful app, but if they can't resolve an issue like this, it's best to just abandon it. I switched to TikTok.

Instagram is unfortunately dead in 2026.

There is an Instagram account with the username itsaaa90 that contains my personal photo. The account is linked to a mobile number from Mobily, which is no longer under my ownership after the number was withdrawn and reassigned.

I no longer have access to this account and cannot recover it because I do not own the phone number and there is no accessible email associated with it.

I previously submitted a report through Instagram’s official impersonation form. I also attempted to contact support via email and Twitter.

To date, I have received no response, no update, and no acknowledgment —
not from the form, not from email, and not from Twitter.

The lack of communication and case tracking in a sensitive privacy and identity-related issue is extremely concerning.
