Lackluster communication, no resolution as of yet.
I purchased a roof rack for my Jeep about a week and a half ago from an online retailer. As part of the checkout process, an offer popped up to request install connect to install my roofrack. My schedule is fairly busy, and finding time to do anything is an issue lately. That being said, I thought I'd give it a chance. They sent me an email after my purchase to schedule the install. I did so, and the web form said someone would contact me. It's been close to a week and no confirmation or follow up. So today, I contacted Install Connect via their 800 number. I spoke with a rep there and they informed me that they would contact the local shop to get my roof rack installed. They offered no confirmation, set no expectations, and just said theyd let me know maybe later today or maybe tomorrow. My first thought was why didn't they contact the shop last week. The part has been sitting at my house for quite some time now. At this point, I am disappointed with myself for buying the service. I'm not impressed with the lack of communication during this entire process. I still don't know if/when this install will ever happen. There has been no communication initiated by this company since the original email.
Ultimately, ff things get resolved in a timely fashion, I'll update this review. If they don't get resolved soon, I'll also update my review and request my money back.
I wish I would have researched install connect more extensively prior to purchasing their service. I didn't, and here we sit.
