We've ordered a 315L Dux Hot Water System over the weekend and it arrived on Monday...how good is that!?! In addition to this express delivery, they had even placed the 315L/92kg unit to our backyard where our old system is located. We previously went with Bunnings however their courier service "ANC" was nothing but over promise and under deliver AND they had even mentioned their disappointment with their courier and would be looking at changing their courier. We took a chance and decided to try your company as the product was significantly cheaper. We are impressed with the delivery timeframe and the unit was in mint condition and package was not damaged at all. We would recommend Installed Today to everyone.

!Having read the reviews on another site, I ordered online an installation of a hot water system Rheem 125l 3600W from JR as replacement for the old system. I paid in full. The wait was 14 days. The seller never asked about photos, or any other information about the existing system. On the day, a box was delivered with what I assumed was the system. A few hours later, two guys came and told me they wouldn't be installing the system, unless I paid an additional $400 (I already paid $1499). I told them that I paid for the whole system and I shouldn't be paying extra. They took the box and left. Now I was charged $600!, thus half the price, that I paid in cancellation fees! But I didn't cancel anything. The tradesmen simply refused to install the system without more cash. The business claimed that I bought a TANK, even though the word tank was never mentioned in the ad. It said Hot Water System. Basically, avoid buying online, and never pay in advance, or you may be sorry,

This is a long explanation that doesn't address the issue at all. JR advertised online a HOT WATER SYSTEM, but they told me that I bought a TANK. If you are selling a TANK, advertise a TANK. This is a clear case of misleading advertising!
Asking me to assess whether, my old, 23 years old hot water system (!), was "compliant" is unreasonable. I know nothing about hot water systems, I am not a plumber. I am not an expert, they are supposed to be.
Moreover, unlike the local plumber who, by now, installed the system, they didn't send anyone to check out the existing system before sending out the crew. They never asked a single question about the existing system. They didn't want any photos. Instead, they were satisfied with sending out technical emails that I had no idea what they meant.
How different things would have been if I didn't buy their system! I didn't I have this problem with the friendly, local plumber, who came to my house to check out the old system, and in a few days installed a new one! And, the best thing, it wasn't more expensive, but I got what I paid for, and at last we could have a warm shower!
Buying online from JR, I thought I was getting a bargain for under $1500. Instead, I lost $600. (I thought the price was low because they made me to wait for two weeks!!! for the installation, that didn't happen.)
If it is too good to be true, then it is too good to be true. My advice stands. If you want to have a new system, checkout the local plumber. Don't look for bargains online, never pay in advance, and have the plumber come, and check out your old system before giving you a quote! Once bitten...

We've purchased a hot water system online and while I thought I understood the pricing and calculated my cost based on information provided on the website, expecting that any additional charges will just be discussed prior to the installation as my husband was at home. The normally one hour installation in two people took 4 hours and they made half asked effort to clean up the mess... We ended up getting an invoice and paid extra $600 on the top of the expected cost based on the site info and none of the extra charges were mentioned on the installation day at all. Simple phone call or just a chat from the installers would have save us a big disappointment. Could have picked someone local for much cheaper if we knew how much it's gonna cost us.

Very impressed with the service by JR GAS and WATER!!. Immediate response and very professional. Prices up front on the website and communication throughout. Due to Christmas closures the Enviroheat 250EH1-15 Heat Pump Water Heater was not available until the supplier reopened in 5 days time. JR Gas and Water arranged to pick it up 6am on the day they opened and arrived at my house at 7am for a seamless install. The installers Brandon and Lachlan were great to deal with and have completed a very neat and professional install. The Enviroheat unit is quiet, stylish and heated up quickly. The unit looks extremely well made and I am very happy with my choice in both Enviroheat and JR Gas and Water. Thanks again guys!

Contacted JR Gas and Water this morning regarding a faulty hot water system. As promised by the person I was talking to (unfortunately do not remember his name) Sean and Josh arrived on time. They were extremely professional, polite and quick. Everything went smoothly and left my place in a spotless condition. Should I require their service again, I will not hesitate to contact them. Highly highly recommended. Thanks again guys, you are champions.

Rapidly rising cost of gas plus the fixed monthly supply cost for it has caused me to move my water heating from instantaneous gas to electric. I was paying about $50 per month in total for gas. Changing two cooktops over to electric was going to be too expensive so they have been converted to LPG jets/injectors and will now run off two 9kg BBQ bottles. I estimate I will use about six bottles per year, so $120. I only have a small space for water cylinder installation and therefore needed a skinny tank, but tall so it’s still good volume. I also wanted to avoid having to install a new power circuit for it as that would have added at least another $1,000 to the job. JR Gas and Water supplied an Enviroheat 250EH1-15 heat pump which can run off a standard GPO since the compressor uses only ~500W and it has a ~1500W resistance element as backup or for boost. So even using both it is the same power consumption as an electric kettle. Brandon and Lachlan did the water heater installation one afternoon and came back the next day to change the cooktops to LPG and do the gas bottle changeover valves. They were professional, polite, friendly and happy to discuss the job details with me. JR Gas and Water have promptly provided the certificates for both the water cylinder and gas work. From a cold start the water heater took 7 hours to get up to the 65 degree set point without using the boost. Routinely it takes 2.5 hours to get back to temperature each day after providing four showers in the previous 24 hours. So it costs an amazingly low six cents per day using my solar power and assuming I would otherwise have got 5c/kWh as FIT for the electricity. It will be a little higher in the winter when the inlet water temperature is a bit lower and the showers perhaps a little hotter/longer. The water heater produces a noise level similar to that of a small air conditioner outdoor unit. We will be running it on a timer in the daytime only so the noise is just not a problem. The water system is easy to program and has various modes and timers available. It doesn’t have remote/wifi but once the novelty wears off it’s probably not something I want to be looking at every day anyway. Overall I’m extremely happy with having done this (and previously getting the solar system). I’ve also got a Tesla Powerwall which will probably not pay for itself in its lifetime, but does come with an extremely useful app for monitoring home power usage (better than the one provided with the solar inverters).
