Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 234 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many people appreciate the quick response times and the efficiency of the service, finding it a convenient alternative when their regular doctor is unavailable. Customers often highlight the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff, with some expressing gratitude for the doctors' understanding and clear guidance. However, some people were dissatisfied with the pricing, noting that the cost for a short consultation or a limited prescription can be expensive, especially when repeat prescriptions require additional fees. There are also concerns about customer service, with some reviewers reporting unhelpful or dismissive interactions with staff, and issues with doctors not fully reviewing uploaded documents or having difficulty understanding due to language barriers.

⭐ 1-Star Review - Disappointing service

⭐ 1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience

I paid $49 for Instascript and received absolutely nothing in return. No service, no support, no follow‑through—just a complete waste of money. The platform promises quick delivery and professional results, but what I got was silence and zero value.

It feels like a total bait-and-switch, and customers deserve better than this. If you’re considering using Instascript, take this as a warning: save your money. There are plenty of reputable services out there—this is not one of them.

I’m requesting a full refund and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company.

Send a text message to my specialist requesting the medication. Received a script text within 5 minutes no hassles, no drama.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN

Wasted 1hr of my time

Wasted 1hr of my time. They said they tried to call when they had not. They don't do scripts for vape products. That was my reason for signing up. Very confusing setup.

Good prompt service

Good prompt service, however, with medication ongoing required, I would have thought I’d get a script longer term than just a 30 day supply. Maybe I should have asked??

Gouge you on refills…

I paid a lot of money to get scripts for my 3 regular medications. NONE are addictive/ sedating / controlled. 1 month later they say they can’t issue any of them under the $19 refill and I’d need another $49 consult. Medical gatekeeping & gouging at its finest. Do yourself and your pocket a favour. Delete this app and buy your meds directly from IndiaMART. Their AI is useless and their chat staff are rude.

Dr Muhammad Akbar was dismissive and…

Dr Muhammad Akbar was dismissive and rude. Asked questions which were answered in the form, failed to read the uploaded document. Call lasted 2 mins with Dr telling me to go to urgent care clinic instead of reading the documents uploaded which clearly state the medication I’m on.

Generic service and feels like Google search

I wouldn’t recommend this service if you or your child have complex or special medical needs. We paid for advice while our GP and pediatrician were on holiday, only to be told to continue Panadol and Nurofen something we were already doing with no improvement. The service felt impersonal and generic, more like a Google search than real medical care.

Very bad experience

This is the second time I’ve used InstantScripts for the same symptoms as I was initially away on holidays. A month and a half ago I spoke to the most wonderful doctor who prescribed a stronger antibiotic than I’d previously had for the same condition (I had initially used a different Tele health group). It cleared up the problem very quickly and the doctor gave me some great advice.
This morning the exact same symptoms recurred. My GP’s surgery doesn’t reopen until next week so I paid for a consult again with InstantScripts. Unfortunately, today’s doctor (Doctor Michelle) was neither helpful nor understanding. Despite explaining that the symptoms were exactly the same as previously, she refused to prescribe the same antibiotic, preferring a weaker one. I was not rude, loud or aggressive but I did request a reasonable explanation as to why she would not prescribe the antibiotic that worked. Before hanging up on me she told me I needed to figure out how to contact Administration to request a refund since there was no satisfactory outcome to my consult.

The best service

The best service. Less than 5 minutes after sending my request a doctor called. He was extremely professional, very caring and clear with guidance on what to do. Extremely helpful. I will certainly be recommending this service.

Rude

I have flu symptoms so cannot go to an in person doctor so I tried this company. I explained my symptoms and that I get strep throat regularly and my previous doctors put me on antibiotics so I was hoping for a similar outcome as I’m very sick and unable to work.

The doctor who called was extremely rude from the get-go, repeatedly ‘integrating’ if cold and flu tablets were helping which I eventually said “yes” to move on as he did not accept “I’m not sure, it’s still up and down but I only started last night”. He ended up having a different opinion to my previous experiences and didn’t offer antibiotics however by the end I was trying not to cry so I did not want ask any questions.

I’ve never been spoken to like this by a doctor (no empathy or patience) and I will not be using this service again.

I want to thank the Doctors on IScript…

I want to thank the Doctors on Instant Script. They have helped me so much over the years, but I would like to thank the Doctors especially this year. What I can appreciate is I've had too many days off, then they need you to actually talk with a Doctor. The Doctors have really gone out of their way to help get me the medications that I've needed. Especially when my regular Doctors were not putting my prescriptions on my My Health record.
I have very recently been going through a miscarriage and they have made me "sick" days off so much easier to cope with.
I can get for some the pricing might seem over the top, but for the convivence and the services they can provide, I think its worth it.
