Awful Customer Service Damaged Goods.
I ordered some very expensive insulation from Insulationking co.uk
They where cheaper for the specific insulation kingspan koolthermk103 80mm thick so I decided to use them.
With a lead time for next day delivery however a possible 2-3 days if the delivery was out of yhe midlands which it was, so I anticipated ordering on the 22/09/26 it to take a few days to arrive.
At first the customer service where okay explaining it would be a friday delivery from yhe order on tuesday.
However the delivery did not turn up. The office was closed on friday so I couldnt contact their team leaving me worried it eas a scam baring in mind the insulation was just shy of £900.00 as a small buisness I can't take a hit like that.
On monday I called up and they explained it had not been delivered to them yet and it was due in that day and epuld be sent out.
On tuesday I called back and they explained they where sorry their driver was due back at 16:30 and it would be sent immediately from Birmingham to East Sussex with a ETA of 19:30 the driver would call a hour before they arrived. At 21:00pm I left site as it clearly was another missleading lie.
On wednesday I threatened to take matters up with the bank if they didnt deliver the insulation and it arrived wednesday afternoon.
The Insulation was ratched strapped in the back of a panel van with no corner pieces leaving it damaged amongst things it looks to have been left outside for a while with water ingress to one side of the sheets and the driver essentially threw it out his van demanding a signature so he coukd leave.
At this point I have accepted delivery as it has coat me as a small buisness too much money to persue further.
I would not recomment them to anyone I dont normally write reviews. However this is the worst customer service I have experienced in construction in the last 16 years.
Be honest, be polite explain the situation and keep people updated if theirs unforseen delays, to give the customer as much opportunity to work around any issues.
