SCAM

SCAM! Do not engage with this platform. I would give zero stars if it were possible. After answering a bunch of prying questions and providing your contact information you will find out there is a fee for job seekers to "use"or more acurrately be used by the platform. Next, you will find nothing but very few and crappy leads at that. The platform does not help make any real connections. What's worse is that there is no vetting of the jobs or the "companies" posting the jobs. It's just a money grab to prey on individuals who are looking for work. Absolutely disgusting!

REFUND DENIED

Never use the site, ask for refund and DENIED. SNEAKY BUSINESS made you through the entire onboarding and slap you with a paywall. TONS OF COMPLAINS online on unethical practices and site doesn't provide freelance opportunities as advertised.

Stay well clear on Intch

Signed up in or around September 2025 to seek freelance opportunities. Found nothing but a load of scams. The, just before Christmas, they swiped $39 off my card without notice or warning. When I complained they relied upon the small print. Scummy, disreputable grifters. Stay well away from them.

UPDATE 9th Jan: Based on their response below, I did as they suggested and still got knocked back. As I said, stay clear of them.

You won't be notified before they charge you in 1 year and you won't be refunded.

Intch seems like a good idea but it doesn't work well. I'm writing to warn you to unsubscribe immediately. after you initially subscribe with a discount, you will be informed that it will renew automatically, but you won't ever hear from them again until you notice the full fee going out a year later. So if you've subscribed- email "support at intch dot org" to cancel your subscription otherwise you won't get a refund. Note. I can't yet confirm if this even works.

Zero value, basically a scam

You only get to see the value of the platform after paying, and it is non refundable if you see zero value. They misrepresent the number and quality of opportunities available - not quite a full blown scam but I see little difference

Total scam

Total scam. Would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a one year subscription and after using it for a few days, it was clear the product did not live up to its description, and I wanted to cancel my account. It claimed it could connect me with over a 1000 unique, personalized job offers when I took their "10 minute quiz". However, I wasn't able to actually see any of the content until I paid the paywall, and when I did, it only had 8-10 offers listed on repeat, and none of them were remotely suited to my skills, but there were plenty of MLM’s and scammy content. On the website and on the app it stated that to cancel the subscription all I needed to do was go into the subscription tab in my iPhone's System settings, select the app, and then cancel there. I attempted to do so, however there was no subscription present, so I assumed there was no ongoing subscription or pending charges listed, so I deleted the app. I checked my receipt, and there was no explanation on how to cancel listed there, or any terms or conditions listed either. Then I got another charge to my account this week, with no receipt or notice before or after.
When I reached out the company, speaking with Mike Martin, the head of their customer service team, and asked why I hadn't received any renewal notice or reminder, they claimed that because I purchased the subscription, I had thereby agreed to all their terms and conditions and was not entitled to a renewal notice. When I explained that I followed all their directions to cancel my account months earlier and didn't see any subscriptions listed, so I shouldn't have been charged for a renewal and I wanted a refund, they said they "couldn't" refund me because I had to request the refund before they charged my card, which I had no idea I needed to do because I didn't know I still had an active subscription. They told me I was supposed to email them to cancel, but the directions they have on their website say to cancel through the app, which they never communicated in the app or otherwise. At no point did I receive any retainable information about how to cancel that was accurate.
When I sent them the text of California’s Automatic Renewal Law and explained that as a resident of CA, I was legally entitled to a renewal notice and an accurate explanation of how to cancel before they charged my bank account again, they simply claimed I didn't know what I was talking about. They continue to deny me a refund for the improper charge. I have reported them to the BBB, Federal Trade Commission, and the CA Attorney General’s Office. Stay away!

No actual jobs. Just scams.

What the heck. I signed up for this site based on an advertisement that stated that they have plenty of gig work. They have NOTHING. It's all scams. There's not even a PHP tag for their job filtering, showing that no one is posting actual software development work on here. STOP ADVERTISING IT AS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES!!! I'm sure they won't refund my registration fee, so I will be forced to charge back on this.

AI testing roles can be more niche, and it may take a bit of time for the matches to improve as the system learns from your activity. The more you engage and update your profile, the better the recommendations usually get. Hope more relevant opportunities show up for you soon 🤞

Only opportunities open for your region

It will help to be region specific. ex. If im in South Africa applying abroad - you dont want to get messages that you are not allowed to work in that country or we do not support your country. Only open opportunities should be presented - its frustrating.

Searching for remote work felt like a…

Searching for remote work felt like a second full-time job until I downloaded Intch. The app is clean and doesn’t shove a million listings at you. Instead, the matches feel curated, like someone actually looked at your profile. I got two interviews already and one ongoing negotiation. The whole experience is calmer than any platform I’ve used before. Would absolutely recommend.

ABSOLUTE SCAM

Auto-subscription disguised as "free trial". No cancellation button anywhere. Then they charge you an unauthorized fee. After emailing them, they gaslight you as if it was your fault not to cancel. Take it to the bank directly. Those guys are scammers selling you programs that you DO NOT NEED.

This platform is outright predatory.

I’m extremely frustrated with this platform.
They promise to help you find a job, but I didn’t receive a single real opportunity the entire time I used it. No value at all - just wasted time and empty expectations.

If you’re genuinely trying to find a job, this platform is definitely not the place for you.
A total disappointment.
