Poor Customer Service - you need to jump through hoops!

I have a Core I9 14900k processor, which Intel has admitted can cause instability, leading them to extend everyone’s warranty to five years.

My system is unstable, yet Intel is making me jump through hoops, which feels unreasonable considering how much I paid for it.

To process a warranty claim, they require the serial number stamped on the chip under the cooler.

They won’t accept proof of purchase, CPUID, Processor ID, or any other evidence that the chip is in my system.

This means I have to disassemble my computer just to give them the serial number, only for the “possibility” of them accepting the claim.

It’s an inadequate process that leaves me with an unstable machine and possibly a long time without a computer.

My next build will be AMD, and after this experience, I can’t recommend Intel components to anyone.

I’m quite disappointed with Intel

I’m quite disappointed with Intel. In my opinion, the quality of their CPUs has declined since the i9-9900K. I’ve had several issues with my new i9-13900, especially stability problems that have also been reported by many other Intel customers. My next CPU will be from AMD.

i have purchased acer i3

i have purchased acer i3, 12th generation process along with inbuilt UHD Graphics wherein every time i login it displays me the update is pending. Inspite of inbuilt acer application shows system is upto date however, while viewing intel website it displays history of updates not installed in the system along with that few of the updates for which i raised the complaint while taking the screenshot from the uploaded history all those specific date updates were removed.

THEY ARE SELLING PRODUCTS TO THE GLOBE BUT TILL NOW CHAT AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT NOT CREATED TO BE PROVIDED INSTANTLY AND WASTING TIME OF THE CONSUMER AS MANY ARE NOT TECH SAVVY AND FOR BASIC QUESTIONS DONT HAVE TIME TO READ EVERYTHING AS THE KEY WORD IN ENGLISH ANOTHER COUNTRY PERSON ASKS THAT IS NOT FOUND IN THE KNOWLEDGE BASE WHICH IS USELESS. INSTANT SUPPORT SYSTEM NOT CREATED INSPITE OF WORLD BEST COMPANY. I AM SURPRISED. I WOULD HAVE NOT WRITTEN IN TRUST PILOT IF THEIR WEBSITE AND SUPPORT WAS EASY ENOUGH TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM WHICH I RAISED AND TIL NOT NOT SOLVED WITH HUGE LIST AND WASTING TIME OF THE CUSTOMER WHO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GRAPHICS AND JUST WANT UPTO DATE SYSTEM DUE TO INBUILT GRAPHICS ATTACHED WHILE PURCHASING FROM ACER COMPANY COMPUTER.

DO ALLIANCE WITH CHAT GPT, WHICH Atleast GAVE ME REASONS LOGICALLY AND INSTANTLY, RATHER THAN WAITING FOR 24-48 HOURS FOR RESPONSES.

Solid hardware with reliable support, small issues

In my opinion. The CPU delivers very good raw performance and runs cool under normal loads. The customer support experience was surprisingly smooth and helpful when I contacted them. However, I've encountered occasional minor stability hiccups that required troubleshooting, which holds it back from a higher rating. A capable processor with good support, but not without its quirks.

Hardware Performs, Support Underwhelms and Overcomplicates

The new CPUs offer solid performance for the price, which is great. However, dealing with customer support for a minor inquiry was a slow and overly bureaucratic process. The website's support forms are frustrating and unclear, making even a simple task needlessly complicated. Good chips, but you're on your own after the sale.

Disappointing Policy - Unable to Replace Lost Intel Sticker After Repair

I recently contacted Intel Customer Support to request a replacement Intel sticker for my laptop after the original was removed during a manufacturer repair. Unfortunately, I was informed that Intel only allows one label replacement per customer, regardless of circumstances.

While I understand the need for policy consistency, this approach feels unnecessarily rigid. In my case, the sticker was lost due to a legitimate repair process, not misuse or multiple requests. It’s disappointing that Intel isn’t willing to make exceptions for genuine cases where customers simply want to restore the original look of their device.

The support staff were polite and responsive, but the policy itself leaves little room for understanding or flexibility - especially when customers have valid reasons. I hope Intel reconsiders this rule in the future to better support genuine customers.

Cheap and weak processors (Laptops

Cheap and weak processors (Laptops, PC etc) for expensive prices. Intel was never a good option but people chose it because there weren't many options back than; Now AMD it's the boss.
