Ignored customer communication

I recently bought kitchen hardware from Interfit Furniture Components but realized the wrong parts had been ordered. Due to an unforeseen family situation, I had to fly out to South Africa immediately. By the time I was able to deal with the order upon my return, I had just missed their 14-day return deadline.

I reached out to their customer service team, explained my situation clearly, and asked if they could offer a little flexibility or compassion given the extenuating circumstances. Instead of treating me like a human being or a valued customer, they completely ignored my message. I haven’t received a single reply or acknowledgement.

While I accept the 14-day rule is their stated policy, completely ghosting a customer is unacceptable. A simple "We're sorry, but we cannot bend the rules" would have at least shown basic business etiquette. It is clear that once this company takes your money, they wash their hands of you. If you want a supplier that communicates and offers decent support, look elsewhere

Back and forth on email, accepted money only for them to refuse the order as I'm not in the trade.

We initially contacted you to query the order, as it appeared you had ordered the wrong combination of products. During the conversation, it became apparent you were not trade and your order was promptly refunded.

As we are a trade only website, it is appropriate that we make checks or confirm that orders are from within this sector.

Great company

Great company. We are ordering from them already for over a year. Each time orders are correct. Once the drawer had damage and that was resolved smoothly and very fast. Never had issues with them and prices are great! Always will recommend this company to anyone.

Great service

I recently bought a Blum kitchen from Wickes for fitting myself. It took me a while to fit everything and by the time I got round to the drawers I realised they'd not sent everything. I did a lot of research, contacted the Blum importer in MK directly (on the advice of Interfit) so I knew exactly what I was ordering was correct. I then ordered from Interfit. I got an email querying my order, mentioning some possible missing parts, which I was grateful for...Thanks Sophie. The drwaer units came on the Tuesday after ordering on the Friday. Excellent service, the parts were exactly what I needed. I'd have zero issues ordering from Interfit again. One thing I will say is you really do need to know what you need before pulling the trigger on your order.

stay clear

terrible company to deal with. been chasing a missing delivery for weeks now and no one seems to be able to assist and constantly avoiding to deal with the issue. Tried calling the directors numerous times, however always avoiding the call and seems to me refusing to resolve the situation. half of the order is missing and management also seem to be missing!

To MyConstruction.co.uk, thank you for your continued orders over the last 12 months. We are sorry you are dissatisfied with our service, despite us having thoroughly reviewed your concerns on the day they were received. Shortages or damages should be reported within 72 hours, as per all our order confirmations and delivery notes. Despite this, we still investigated your claim, received 23 days after the parcels were delivered. Our stock checks, cctv, courier records and weights confirm your order was complete. We therefore declined to send £76 of runners free of charge.

Re the recent parcel, we listed your head office address on the proforma, however, we’re now aware an attachment to your order email , listed a different address. To resolve this, we immediately arranged pickup and redelivery to the requested location.

Our customer service team is fully authorised to manage shortages and damages, ensuring prompt and consistent responses. While we welcome open and constructive dialogue, we felt the tone of recent discussions had become challenging, leading us to only respond in writing to ensure clarity and prevent misunderstandings.

Terrible Service and Unhelpful Staff

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. They fail to fulfill orders, and when issues arise, the staff is uncooperative and actively obstructs any attempts to escalate matters to management. To make matters worse, they’ve delivered goods to the wrong address. If you value your time and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Utterly appalling company avoid at all…

Utterly appalling company avoid at all costs. A total waste of time and energy. They seemly don't want to actually sell any products even though our order was for the trade as a kitchen installer they just wasted time and ignored emails and kept the money.

BLUMing awful…

Made and received an order for BLUM parts last year and one of the items supplied was wrong.

They said incorrectly supplied items must be notified to them within 7 days.

If your are a business buying from this supplier, which I'm not, it's buyer beware. If you are a consumer, as I am, don't expect any common sense.

As to the thinly veiled accusation below that I'm fraudulently asking for replacement of the wrong item I obtained from someone else. More bowel motion than Blumotion.

You have agreed to our terms and conditions at the time of ordering to notify any discrepancies within this timescale. As a business to business supplier these timescales can differ from a consumer site.

The timescales here though aren't the issue. As discussed and confirmed by you, all the items you ordered were correctly sent and received over 3 months ago. We’re unable to comment how you have the additional item you sent a picture of, as we’ve never stocked this item.
