From start to finish great experience

From start to finish Andy, Rob and the team did an amazing job. Helping to find just the right granite, accurate measurement and advice on placement of sink and hob, to fitting. Always available to chat and quick to respond to emails and WhatsApp. Great experience.

Refuses to refund when cancelling order within cooling off period

Interior Stone design quoted me on email for a worktop and integrated sink. I provided the measurements to get the quote. Before coming out to do the template Rob asked me via email for the money for the sink so he could order it. I paid the £600 on a Friday evening and Rob sent an email to a supplier to order the sink. After speaking with my kitchen fitter on the Sunday we changed the plans due to the fact Rob wasn’t available until January to do the worktop and the kitchen fitter was available December. So I emailed Rob to cancel the order immediately - the supplier hadn’t even processed the order - despite this Rob has refused to provide a refund of the full £600 and has kept £50 to cover his ‘costs’. Never did he previously mention costs for providing quotes or placing an order (sending a 15 word email). Consumer rights are that orders placed over the telephone or email or online are entitled to a full refund when cancelled within a cooling off period but Rob has totally refused to comply with this legislation. The citizens advice have referred the matter company to Trading Standards.
