We recently ordered a fire-rated oak internal door along with intumescent strips and fire-rated hinges for a home kitchen conversion project. The door itself is good quality — solid, well finished, and clearly built to the correct standard. The accessories also felt durable and compliant, which gave us confidence once everything was installed.However, the experience wasn’t completely smooth. While the products are good, we struggled to get clear guidance on installation requirements for fire doors, particularly around what to look out for when fitting and the differences in fitting a fire door compared to a normal one. Customer service were polite but couldn’t provide detailed technical advice. For something as important as fire safety, clearer installation support or documentation would really improve the overall experience.

Excellent quality doors which were promptly delivered. I then had some issues with the install as it turned out I was going for a non-standard fit, Chloe and the team were exceptionally helpful, and despite it taking a whole lot of effort from both them and their suppliers to resolve, she persevered with tenacity and made sure I was able to get the additonal parts I needed. I'd imagine most other companies would've fobbed me off, so was delighted with the support I received, and cannot recommend them highly enough.
I have more internal doors to purchase in future when I hit phase 2 of my project, and there's no question I'll be coming straight back to them when I'm ready.

Great customer service from Layla. Would have been 5 were it not for the payment system - rather than a simple direct payment I had to use a link which initially took me to gym membership at £59.99 a month.

After buying 8 doors from this company we found one damaged at point of fitting The company refused to own this problem after a number of emails later 20 pound refund or discount given. When ordering the replacement new door to match the rest in the house, a charge of 40 pound delivery what a kick in the teeth when the original order was free delivery due to value. New door has been delivered removed the packing to find this door also has two areas of damage. This company has no care about the product quality sent to you or any consumer rights once they have your well earned money.

Disappointing they sent the wrong doors when I specifically emailed sales to make sure the correct size is sent but still could not get it correct. Contractor had to be cancelled to install doors due to incorrect size.
Now I will have to wait another week before delivery if correct doors arrive.

To start, I ordered a pack of skirting board (4 boards in total) and a set of architrave. Waited nearly 3 weeks for delivery after being told they were in stock to begin with, then there was a system issue due to a new IT programme which caused more delays. I requested my delivery back which was accepted and a refund issued, problem solved or so we thought. I waited the 3 hr timeslot for delivery and it didnt turn up. This was chased with the CS team who then advised it was delivered but had been delivered to our billing address instead of the shipping address. I arranged a van to collect this myself and once we had the order it was then we realised every single piece of skirting was damaged, white marks imprinted into skirting, multiple chips and the veneer not pulled over the back. Not one board usable. After contacting the customer service team a replacement was offered along with me requesting half my money back which was again issued. Great! Waited 5 working day for the 2nd delivery and once again each board damaged. I emailed to request a full refund and to collect the 2nd order. Where it stands now a weeks later, there has been no collection and still no refund. Internal doors are refusing to refund me until the collection has been made but don't seem to be in a rush to collect when the order has been here waiting for 6 days. I have dealt with J*** and W**** and both have had a poor attitude and dont seem to care in the slightest. Chloe has been dealing with my complaints, lovely and helpful but doesn't leave my complaint with any colleagues when going on annual leave which further delays my outcome. I am currently awaiting a manager call back. Update- no outcome from the manager callback but the skirting was picked up eventually on the 7th working day. Full refund was provided which we didnt receive till the week after

I recently ordered a set of internal French doors, and while one of the doors unfortunately arrived with a small chip and some paint missing, I was really impressed with the customer service throughout the entire process.
From the point of order through to delivery, every team member I spoke with at Internal Doors was professional, helpful, and genuinely went above and beyond to support me. Although I was hoping for a slightly higher refund due to the issue, I appreciated the quick and respectful communication I received, which made the situation feel much easier to manage.
