Extensive Course materials, training sessions and 1:1 sessions are really helpful.

It was a great learning experience. The Course was well structured and content was of great quality. The instructors were expert on the given topics and provided insights on industry trends. Projects done during the course have immensely helped in developing hands-on understanding of the learned concepts. The IK platform along with support teams resolved all issues without delay.

I found the course content highly satisfying, with its in-depth coverage of concepts and clear, straightforward explanations. I would definitely recommend it to others. That said, a more concise and streamlined syllabus would make it easier to complete the course more quickly.

The courses are excellent—hands-on, in-depth, and packed with material. There’s a lot to cover, so you really need to stay focused to get the most out of them. I’m on my second course now and couldn’t be happier.

Technical content in algorithm (coding) and system design areas were very helpful.

The patterns showed in algorithms (coding part) gives a framework for forming solutions to any new questions also on our own. I was able to come up with solutions to new problems also with this knowledge.

The concepts in system design, I was struggling with the overall picture before, but after going through that content, I was able to understand the basic concepts especially sharding and the way/steps to do system design, and this gave me immense confidence.

From improvements, I feel in system design, "how" to do each step should also be taught. For example, in high level design, we've to form services to handle functionality. How do we decide what services will be necessary for each use-case is still unclear.

Secondly, resume building, it can be taught how to make resume such that it goes through ATS (the tool that HRs use to first pick resume - it uses keywords and numerous other things i think to select/reject a resume). This will help our resumes to get picked up by companies.

Thirdly, resume building again, resume can be directly built by coaches, instead of just giving tips in a short 20min window. I did not get much help in improving my resume. Infact it'll be better if resume can be taken by coaches prior day or before hand, improve it and show the improvements in the next day coaching session.

Fourthly, the mock interviews, the feedback given has to be improved. The feedback ideally has to say what I didnot do (steps I didnot follow for example), and also how it has be done, both. How it has to be done is not being given in the feedback. It can be checked if I'm following all the steps or not - for example clarifying functional requirements, then forming services, then going deep in a service. And also if i did something wrong in each step, and why it was wrong, and how to actually do it. For example, in an interview on designing distributed cache that i attended, when forming functional requirements, I missed functionality of creating cache. So like this it can be told that in this step you missed this.

The most well structured and comprehensive interview preparation content you can find.I really liked the graded progression of topics in this course . Interviewers/expert presenters are very well prepared and communicate really well and I found the interactions extremely useful. The exercises and the course material itself is top notch. If you’re looking to crack interviews at Big tech and need help, I can’t recommend this course enough. It’s well worth your time and investment.

I took Interview Kickstart course to improve my skills. They have lot of good materials, well trained staff and good support system. This course definitely helped me a lot to improve my technical and behavioral skills.

Foundation materials, Live class, Pattern approch to solve problem, Flexibility to go over recording and Support system are unique and awesome as part of IK platform.

I have one recommendation/suggestion to improve upon regarding Live class session as below,
Since i am from Solution architect/Cloud architect background, it would be beneficial if Live class will (also) cover real world implementation example for each of content. That would help to visualise where we can use particular concept in real would problem.
E.g. If i have 5 ways of sorting algorithm(Merge/Quick/bubble/selection/insertion sort) then where particular sorting can be use, likewise for Uber cab booking app may be using merge/quick sort are use to find out nearest cab etc.

Real world example will help Senior folks to understand from design perspective else current methodologies are more focus on implementation/developer perspective (which also good but my suggestion is to improve on for senior folks).

Between Uplevel, Discord and Student Advocate professionals --- IK makes it super convenient for the Learning Professionals to consume the program to the point of able to face Interviews positively.
IK has created and become good at administering a training program for working Professionals that trains/prepares them with the Engineering practices at the very successful/effective Tech companies like Google, Meta, Amazon, Nvidia, etc.,
