My experience with IDS
My experience with International Development Services (IDS)
I hired IDS to help my business improve its financial position and operations. During the sales process, I was given expectations about the scope of work, project costs, and financing strategy that played a significant role in my decision to move forward.
As the engagement progressed, my experience differed substantially from what I believed had been represented. Costs increased beyond what I expected, the project was left incomplete from my perspective, and I ultimately found myself with financing obligations that placed significant strain on my business.
Over the past several months, I have attempted to resolve these issues directly. My attorney has since sent a formal demand letter outlining our position and requesting resolution, but to date we have not received what we consider a meaningful response.
I encourage any business owner considering engaging IDS to:
• Request every promise and representation in writing.
• Carefully review all consulting agreements and financing documents with independent legal counsel.
• Ask for a complete breakdown of all fees, third-party costs, and any potential additional charges before signing.
• Fully understand any financing being recommended, including repayment terms and the total cost of capital.
Every business owner should perform their own due diligence and make an informed decision. I hope sharing my experience helps others ask the right questions before making a significant financial commitment.
I remain hopeful this matter can still be resolved professionally.
