While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. inTuition Academy is online 1-to-1 tuition for UK students, from primary to A-level, plus 11+, 13+ and university admissions. Every tutor is DBS checked before their first lesson, and your first lesson is a no-risk trial. How it works: - We call you within 24 hours to hear about your child: current level, target grade, exam board and any learning needs. - We choose the tutor for you and match within about 2 days. There are no profiles to browse. - Your child has a free first lesson. If it is not right, you pay nothing and we find a better match. Safety: every tutor has a DBS check verified before they start, and we do not place anyone without it. Lessons are online and recorded, messaging stays on the platform, and safeguarding alerts mean concerns are seen and acted on. Our approach: inTuition was started by a practising London maths teacher. We look for where a student is losing marks, then fix those gaps, instead of giving generic extra practice. What we cover: GCSE and A-level subjects, KS2 and KS3, 11+ and 13+ entrance preparation, and university admissions. We work with students across the UK, with a focus on London and Essex. Easy to reach: our team books and manages the lessons, so you never chase anyone. Reply to any of our emails or call us, and a real person will read it and get back to you. Not sure where to start? Lessons days and times were regularly changed with little notice which made the tutoring too inconsistent to continue with. Lessons were also scheduled for days I had already requested them not to be scheduled on. The actual tutor was good though and did help my daughter improve her maths grade.
