I have been an RGN for over 12 years now, Atlas system was introduced in my place of work recently, it has added an extra 1 hour or more to each of my medicine round. Its incredibly buggy and does not sync quite often. If you are looking into this EMAR system, please stay away for the sake of nurse retention, your nurses will resign soon enough, which I have already done. How do you manage medicines? This will be my first question to my future employers. Digital medicines management is new and still requires a lot of trial and error.

ATLAS eMAR, sadly, is not a good system.
It doesn't enable users to audit their meds reliably
It has dangerous bugs around MAR chart generation
- that you need to do proper audits.
The tech support can't offer a date as to when it will be fixed and all their workarounds of their bug are unreliable.
This means customers are left exposed
This needs to be communicated upfront so customers have full information - including that they will lose the ability to safely and consistently audit.
Their tech support's poor handling of the concern is even more concerning - just ignoring it and then trying to close the case as if it was resolved
I hope more people read this so they know in advance that ATLAS don't take compliance seriously

The company made the decision to explore the many EMAR systems that are on the market. After reviewing and having many demonstrations. We finally settled on Atlas EMAR. This company offered much more of a comprehensive package, easy to navigate system. The customer service was outstanding and Saj has ensured we had a smooth transition. My staff are extremely happy with how easy it is to use. Home managers have informed me that auditing is a breeze and has cut down the time they would normally have spent undertaking this task. We have had Atlas for a year now and very happy with the system, which integrates with our digital Care system.Used in our Supported Living, RCH and nursing services. Love the BNF feature. We get monthly webinars for new staff and for refresh and Q and A. Support is prompt. Would highly recommend.

After years of using an emar system, last year we decided it was time to look for something that offered a little more. We decided on Atlas and we have not been disappointed. Easy to link with other systems, quick and clear oversight for managers and it is easy to extract information from for auditing. I regularly encourage other care providers to look at this system. Thank you to the team at Atlas for their ongoing support.

WE have found the system very user friendly and the support is always there when we need it. I would highly recommend this system it's the best Emar system I have seen.

We have now been running Atlas eMars for a number of years, the support provided by the team has always been proactive and responsive to our teams needs. Can’t fault the overall package provided by the Atlas Team.

Excellent technology when used correctly by all parties.... (wanted to put 4.5 star) only due to the human errors that can still be made... however technology and the way it works is great and effective... Great time management and works well in our care home....

Training programmes still need updating to suit technical system updates...

we have recently implemented Atlas EMAR into our second care home. The implementation process has been easy and we received good support from the team to ensure we were all trained and ready. the EMAR system gives us so much more oversight and clarity on the medication being dispensed in the home and what stock we have left. Checking stock in is also made so much easier. The staff have embraced the system and have enjoyed using it. with anything new there are a few little problems at times but the support is there to help and the benefits definitely out weigh any fear of moving over to EMAR. We looked at a lot of systems before picking Atlas but we feel ATLAS was the best and most flexible system for us.

I have implemented Atlas eMAR in two services I have managed. It has transformed medication compliance and has saved a lot of staff time (the ordering, receiving and stock management processes are streamlined compared to paper based systems). Ultimately it makes medication administration safer and reduces the chance of error. This is more than an electronic version of a MAR chart; it is a complete medication management system. I highly recommend the optional extra 'Atlas Scorecard', which if used regularly, gives managers a snapshot of what is happening with compliance. You can quickly identify and address issues before they become a problem. Atlas also links in with the PCS care planning system which is an added benefit. Atlas is by far one of the best systems out there and their friendly implementation team guides you through the whole process. A company that cares about its customers.

Atlas medication system is fundamental to ensuring the safe delivery of medication to our residents as well as improving efficiency. The Atlas team are always very responsive and the support and training has been invaluable whilst we have implemented this system across the group.

Since using ATLAS E-Mar it has helped our company to manage medications more safely and effectively. The system is easy to navigate around and is friendly for all users. Atlas doesn’t stop there though they are developing all the time to make the system even more efficient. They also do webinars to help users learn the system to ensure that we are getting the most out of the product. I would highly recommend and we are currently in the process of launching it at further sites.

We have had this system throughout our Group for a number of years and are very happy with it. It is great not having any paper MAR charts, having a traffic light system of administration. The safety systems in place to ensure safe administration gaps is invaluable. We would never go back!

We have been very pleased with the Atlas system, staff were very concerned at first however it has been very easy to use and all the staff now really think it's a big improvement to how we administer medication to residents. We are very happy with the service and would definitely recommend.

The ALTAS system is a fabulous system which provides great oversight of medicines management within your service.

We are a 63 bed nursing home, we have been using Atlas for some time and have found it be an excellent, user friendly system. The audit functions are an added bonus and having an training facility ensures we are all up to date. The reasons for non administration are comprehensive and prompts help to ensure we make less mistakes. Ordering through the system is straightforward and if we have had to contact Atlas for support this has been an easy quick process
