Horrendous…
Not sure where to start concerning Invictus Relocation…
On the only very positive side, we had a great delivery and unpacking team, very friendly and professional!
Many thanks to them.
For the rest, we had a poor experience with Invictus that was the local correspondent for our move from the UAE.
Things started well with Vanessa, our first move coordinator who was very proactive and professional to get things ready for the arrival of our container.
Unfortunately she left the company and then things went down the drain when a new coordinator took over…
As our container finally arrived in Lisbonon September 6, he came out of the blue asking for some additional document, even if Vanessa had validated our file a month before…
It was the first sign that he had not anticipated the arrival of our container.
Next we were informed that our container had to go through customs inspection.
We had already been informed by our coordinator that our delivery to home would not happen in any case for another 17 days, as they were overloaded, even if our contract clearly mentioned that our container was to be delivered straight after customs clearance.
The inspection was then postponed to an undetermined date…
Finally we got our container 16 days after it was offloaded.
The customs clearance happened just before the set delivery date, exonerating de facto Invictus of any liability for the delay.
I will let people judge of the timeframe and circumstances.
This left me puzzled, to put it mildly.
The communication with our new coordinator was horrendous, having to pull every answer from him, getting no transparency, not receiving any apology nor any sign of consideration or empathy.
We tried to reach out to the CEO of Invictus but he did not even bother answering our emails.
This all leaves a very bitter taste, the impression of not having received the attention and care we deserved as clients, to say the least, and 4000€ of additional spendings for accommodation and additional demurrages costs…
To top it all Invictus added 17% of service fees on extra container and port costs, leaving me quite speechless.
My advice : stay away from Invictus Relocation, for their lack of professionalism and total absence of consideration for their clients !
