Unprofessional

I was approved for a room on March 18 and was told to follow up for next steps. I sent multiple emails and tried calling several times over the next two weeks but got absolutely no response.
Then on April 1, I suddenly received a message asking if I had paid rent and bond and whether I was still interested or moving in — after being completely ignored the entire time.
This was extremely frustrating because I was relying on this place and had organised things around the expected move-in, while waiting for them to get back to me. My calls weren’t even answered by a person, just an AI system saying they would get back to me, which never happened.
The lack of communication and organisation is honestly very disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn’t feel comfortable dealing with them again.

SHAME

I hope as many people as possible read this, and if you do read it, don't trust this agency!
They only care about money. I always paid everything immediately, and after two months they still haven't returned my deposit ($1,600), making a thousand excuses. After I left the building, they accused me and charged me for taking the mosquito net from the bathroom (I never had a mosquito net in the bathroom, as the photos show. I even showed it to one of their real estate agents, but to no avail).
Obviously, they bombard you with notifications and messages for everything, but if you call them for legitimate reasons (such as asking where my money is after two months), you can be sure that no one will answer.
Avoid them!

Leyla has shown her dedicated…

Leyla has shown her dedicated commitment in both listening and acting in all stakeholders best interests. Leyla presents herself in a professional manner by problem solving with empathy and positive input to issues that arise for tenants both promptly and effectively. I am very pleased with Leyla being our overseer throughout my rental agreement.

No way to treat good people.

I visited this young bloke more than a dozen times. He was always conscious of the other tenants and about privacy. I read what happened to him and I find it quite disgraceful. How could he be treated like this. Hopefully this review helps you to think about how you treat your clients.

Such selfless greed.

Well the tenant, though obviously having issues and happy to conform to the strict rules of the rental company, has been well and truly shafted. His well being ignored, his safety put at risk, but at the end of the day the owners got their cash. Greedy selfish people who just couldn’t care less. With support I hope the lad recovers ok.

Disgraceful act by the owners

As a landlord I am horrified reading the review of this young man who obviously gave notice of the issues and then to not only emotional cripple him but financially too is incredibly selfish and money driven instead of doing what is right. Shame on the manager and owners how incredibly awful.

Unprofessional

Very unprofessional behaviour by this company. Only thinking of money. When dealing with someone with a disability you need to help them to believe and trust in the Community. These actions taken by this company are very unprofessional and have left the tenant in a very difficult position mentally and financially. This also impeads his parents efforts in trying to make him independent and live life.

Disgusting

Disgusting behaviour by a company that should be totally focused on the Health, Well being and Safeguarding of there Clients rather than solely focusing on Money!!! Having a disability of any sort makes life difficult so good support is vital..

My son with Autism

I was looking for a rental property for my son who needed somewhere close to us that was safe, affordable, and had a property management team that looked after their tenants. He has Autism, ADHD, Anxiety and a tic disorder. I shared this with the property manager from the beginning.
I was assured that standards were high and we had emails advising us of the rules and regulations of living at the property. The accomodation was expensive at $380 per week.
After the first few weeks another tenant started to demonstrate concerning behaviours. Not abiding by tenancy rules, having visitors over late, drinking excessively and taking illicit substances. Management were made aware of this before their offices closed for Christmas, however there was no acknowledgement. My son spent a lot of time at home because he did not feel safe, we tried to encourage him to return and he did between Christmas and New Year. On the 31st December he called us from his room terrified due to someone shouting, swearing, and being aggressive. Police attended and had to physically restrain this tenant who threatened to kill our son. He never returned to the property. The tenant was evicted 2 days later.
This event has had a massive impact on my son's mental well being. The tenancy agreement had clearly been breached by them as far as I was concerned. I was told that they would speak to the property owner and given the circumstances they should be able to waive the rent....well, this did not happen, in fact they sent numerous messages saying he was in arrears.
Our son had to pay $380 a week for 4 weeks when he was not there and $149 for his room (which we cleaned thoroughly) to be professionally cleaned.
Even though they were aware of what he had been through and was on a disability pension they threatened him with action if he did not pay.
Not only has this been a terrible experience for my son, it has also affected his ability to live independently.
Our good nature was ignored and all that was important was that the property owner received their money.
