Motto is NO, cannot, Will not

It seems to me that their Motto is NO , CANNOT, do it yourself attitude, especially in the back office.
Cannot find the heart or soul anywhere at the iOD. The servers are very good but the office staff NO. I feel as a member, once they receive your fees, you become invisible. There is no real help with meeting other directors for a chat, a drink with other directors. A weekly round table perhaps. I was told I unsubscribed, but was unaware that, if one unsubscribes to the many expensive lectures they offer, then you get no notifications at all. When ever I wanted to join in, I was told they were over subscribed. That happened at least four times of the four times I showed interest in attending. They could put a little more heart in it and make their members feel included, instead of putting down the phone. I was simply suggesting a better way of communicating with their valued members IE; keeping them in the loop, by reaching out, listening to their individual needs and catering for them. That is good business sense especially in an institution who teach good business methodology to others. Just saying. It would seem to me their systems are not up to par. Perhaps the back office staff are overworked. Something needs tweaking.
