Performed unauthorized payments
They started to charge me without my consent, for absurd amounts not even linked to any active subscriptions.
After being with an AI bot for hours, I managed to talk to a human. The person told me they can't do anything and redirected me to their kind of manager. Manager who, with an attitude, told me that they get to do what they want and I don't get a say. That they managed to tricked me into buying once so now they get to take my money and nothing can be done to change it.
I am currently in the process of reporting them to the authorities.
Avoid the trouble and go for well known and trustworthy providers.
EDIT: And of course I get notifications that they try to take my review down.

It’s a great service—useful and well-designed. As an English-speaking user, I found navigation and access to information a bit challenging. However, the support team is excellent.
IONOS mostly suggests phone calls, but since I’m not fluent in French, I first tried to contact them via email. Unfortunately, email support wasn’t very effective—responses were slow and not always to the point. So, I reached out through chat instead, and the experience was amazing—fast, helpful, and friendly.

IONOS.fr blocked my account before the domain renewal because I had set it to manual renewal instead of automatic. To prevent me from transferring the domain to another registrar, they blocked the account, waited for the domain to expire, and now they're asking for a price 10 times higher for the renewal, with no way to do anything about it. If you don’t pay within a month, they transfer the domain to a name likely owned by them, and the minimum offer to get your website back starts at €250, with no guarantee it will be accepted. This behavior is unfair and dishonest. Thieves.

By default, domain names are set to auto-renew unless the customer disables this option or if the domain registration is not paid. In such cases, the domain is not renewed for the following year.
When a domain expires and is not renewed, the owner usually has about 30 days after the expiration date to request a restoration through the registry (e.g. Afnic, ICANN) via the registrar (IONOS). The cost of this process varies depending on the domain extension.
If the domain is not restored within this period, it becomes available on the public market, where anyone can register it.
A domain owner is free to use their domain as they wish, whether for a website, an email account, or even for resale. Some domain names, known as "Premium" domains, are listed for sale on platforms such as Sedo by their owners, at prices that must be accepted if someone wishes to acquire them. These prices are in addition to the fees for the IONOS service.
