First purchase from Japan went well, however over the holiday, communications were naturally delayed. I don’t believe that was indicated on the website, but other than that, everything was very good to include the excellent packaging and brand new Oceanus watch. I would purchase from them again, but be aware of any tariffs, extra taxes, etc. That took me off-guard during the delivery process.

Some months ago, I purchased the cream dial Seiko 5 Sports SBSA227 from IPPO JAPAN WATCH via Chrono24 and had a positive experience. Because of that, I decided to gift my brother the black version, the SBSA225, which I bought directly from their website.
Shipping took a little over a week to dispatch, but once sent, everything went smoothly. The watch traveled quickly from Japan to Europe, and after paying customs fees it arrived well protected in a simple but nice Seiko-branded box. The watch was well adjusted, and both my brother and I were very pleased.
Communication was good, and after a few reminders, here’s my review. Cheers! 🙂

Excellent customer service and process. Only downside was that i had to wait for the retstock since the webside Disney say anything about it.

First time User - Not 5 Stars because there it too many Unknowns on the final cost of the item and the delay on order fulfillment is something I'm not used to.
The Items received are all in good condition and worth waiting for.

our orders took more than 2 weeks and ended up receiving a defective SBPY165. order placed nov. 24, received dec. 10. the crown was not working properly even we already put it on sunlight for hours. i had to check with seiko service center here in megamall here in PH and the technician said that the seller have sent me defective watch. we did not opt to send the watch back since it will take some time again and need to pay for customs again

IPPO chose DHL as their shipper. DHL keeps messaging me, telling me they need further information from me, but they don't tell me what information they need. Their website doesn't provide a way to supply further information on the shipment, and when I talk to someone on the phone at DHL, THEY can't tell me what information is missing. I opened a case with PayPal because the item I purchased is in limbo, but IPPO wants me to close my case with PayPal, saying that the item can't ship to me with a PayPal case dispute. I can't close the case because PayPal won't let me open a case on this purchase again, if I don't receive the item. UPDATE: I did receive the watch, but the problem was DHL, who do everything they can to avoid human interaction with you. In the end, it took DHL almost SIX days to finally let me know that I needed to upload some sort of watch description file, to aid in customs review. I did my best, but they rejected my file. Another day lost. After that, another email from DHL mentioned a clocks/watches form for customs, BUT THEY DIDN'T OFFER A LINK TO IT! I had to do a web search of my own, to find that DHL does indeed have their own U.S. customs clearance form for clocks and watches. I downloaded that form (which DHL never sent me a link to), filled out, and uploaded to DHL. Watch cleared customs the next day. Now I must dispute 'bonded storage' fee from DHL, due to their inability to communicate quickly and in a helpful manner.

I didn’t like the fact that i had to pay an additional 41.00 for import fees which isn’t there fault but they could have warned me it could be as much on a 112.00 purchase plus the 46.00 shipping they charge. I thought the 46.00 shipping covered everything.

Loved how smooth the order process was! First time I purchased from overseas and prices were very reasonable. I ended up purchasing two watches from them! I highly recommend them and I will purchase from then on the future.
