Once I understood how the items in my Boxy Charm were picked I started to update my profile periodically to get a more diverse variety of products. Where my complaint sits is the inconsistent shipping and lack of tracking. The new website used for tracking is a complete joke! It will only show that a label was created for weeks! This month, Oct 2025, was no exception. It is now Oct 21st, the label was create on Oct 6th, and I still have not received my box! The last update on the 19th shows that the box is at a facility, but still no delivery date! I used to get the box about a week and a half after I ordered. Now it is at the end of every month with no delivery date in sight...do better Ipsy!

Boxy Charm used to be the best website for makeup and skin care, but since it merged with Ipsy... it now sucks. Orders take forever, the quality of items is cheap, compared to Boxy. Now I have choices that suck, such as constant lip/eye liners and I once received a beauty blender as MY choice 🤦♀️

To be completely honest I rather when I was dealing with boxycharm. I’m still waiting on my October box which for whatever reason has been sitting in Houston,Tx since October 16 due to a shipping/rerouting error. Or that’s all I’m able to get as far as feedback from Ipsy. Never had any issues with boxycharm which I had been a customer with since 2018

I love the IPSY products I enjoyed using them. The only concern or complaint was that two bags or two months' subscriptions were charged to my bank, but I haven’t received the glam products. I emailed them and the response was that the October bag is on the way but the other bag they are not replacing because of over 45 days. I asked them if I could have a refund but they said it’s not eligible for a refund and I’m not happy about it.

I used to love boxycharm which is now owned by Ipsy. I have been a customer for years however this past month, October I did not receive my box and it has been such a hassle to obtain a replacement. The customer service representatives take a very long time to respond and when they do there is lack of communication. I received a tracking number for my replacement order that does not even work even after the “48 hour wait time” they recommend. Extremely disappointed with them, a big part of being a good reputable brand is having good customer service and Ipsy is lacking in that.

Iv had pretty good experience, only has time time i did receive the right add-on i paid for an they are sending me a replacement for that. Either then that its been pretty good some product I actually love, so i don t think they look at your actual profile to see your likes an dislike. But for the most part it is good

First, they over charge for sample size products. A few items you may only get one use out of which isnt really worth what you pay monthly. Another, when they offer a free gift and show you what you will get they dont send you that product ... it is way different. That is just a few issues and more but I am sure you get the picture in this small review.

lousy service. missing items no glam bags x 2 months. my items that came were in an envelope. I left overn20 messages. back n forth with customer service. Nothing got fixed. I requested refund. no response. So frustrating.

I placed an order from the IPSY stores and boxy charm just over a month ago. I just got my order. There was no one to call. I also got an ICON box and the colors were way too dark. Not even close to my profile preferences. Waste of $70. Still haven’t gotten my boxy charm box.

I do very disappointed in you guys you want my honest opinion I ready to drop you guys. This month Ipsy glam bag was trashed everything was nasty cover in the face mask. It was all trashed. I’ve been an ipsy customer for about 10 years now. When i first signed up I had to be on a waiting list! You HAVE to use the app to get the full ipsy experience. Alot of people i know that had Ipsy for a little while and cancelled weren’t using it and didn’t know you can pick your products and order other things at massive discount! And no, i don’t work for Ipsy! The price is good for what you get so long as you’re using the app and reviewing your products! If you dont like bright red lipstick then you can go under that product and hit the “not for me” response.
In my experience customer service has been top notch! Ive had a few hiccups over the years and each time they were resolved quickly. AGAIN using the app. Actually this month i didn’t receive an item I ordered, I received something different, I let ipsy know and within a few hours I received an email apologizing and letting me know that the correct item was being shipped, and it has been shipped already.
I have received the same type of item back to back which was kind of annoying especially if you don’t use that product aka setting spray 3 months in a row. But thats my only complaint. My ipsy bag seems pretty darn tailored to me at this point! I recommend to all my friends.

Elizabeth! If you choose to upgrade your Glam Bag subscription (for example, to BoxvCharm or Icon Box), vou will be billed for the upgraded subscription on the next billing date, not immediately. IPSY subscriptions renew and bill by the last business day of each month, so any changes you make before the 25th at 11:59 PM PT will take effect for the following month's order and billing cycle

Two months in a row my box was never shipped. Customer service makes me wait an entire month after it gets lost to “see if it shows up” and won’t give a refund. My ticket was still open and they decided to send me this survey so here we are. I filed a charge back and reported them to the Better Business Bureau

I didn’t receive my September bag at all and my October bag came with 5 products but no bag! I received 3 lotions, so there was no variety. I’ve contacted customer service 2 times and had to communicate with a “bot”…. My issue still not resolved and I’m thinking about canceling.

The prices is the main thing bringing me back to Ipsy. I've been able to dive into some expensive brands that I otherwise wouldn't be purchasing at face value. I also really love the klarna payment option.
My negatives are: Not having continuous availability of favorite items. Some products disappear just as fast as they appear, and never come back.
Secondly, your beauty quiz never adhered to my choices. I stopped using the monthly bag subscription because I was getting repeat products of my least favorite choices.

i had ordered my package from july. it was weeks past the delivery date and i requested a replacement package. when i finally received my replacement package it was september, and it only had ONE of the 5 products. i requested another package but they aren’t answering. this is so frustrating considering i’ve waited months for a package that i only got 1 product. This was $30 canadian.
