I hope you, an online customer like me, read this message before going to IQ Academy. This website is a complete scam. They make it seem like you’re only paying £0.39 to get your results, but then, just few days later, they hit you with a hidden charge of £39.99. There’s no clear warning about this.
It feels manipulative and intentionally designed to trick people. I’m not the only one , read the other reviews to find the very similar feedback has been shared by others: Steven Marco Tsilavina, Best Wing, Jake, Quinton Y, Henrik Cook, Nick Brightman and much more. Clearly, this isn’t an isolated case but a repeated pattern of deceptive practices. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Scam - please report your own experience to legal authorities
Unfortunately like hundreds and possibly thousands of other people I too have been caught by this scam, where they hide the fact they will repeatedly bill you for a 'subscription' in hidden T&C's while they try to make it very clear to you that you will just be making a small one time purchase.
Frankly I was astounded that a company with this business model exists, I contacted their customer service and they have absolutely no intention of providing customer service. As you can also see from the hundreds of other reviews, they have acknowledged that people are surprised by these hidden charges but have made no effort to make it any more clear for future 'customers'.
I would encourage everyone else, as I have, to report their case to their relevant ombudsman or legal authorities.

Absolute trash. I did an IQ test and was under the impression that it was for free. Ended up paying £1 to see the results. Little did I know that once I gave them my bank details, I would be signed up to a £39.90 subscription.

It's a subscription - I'm pretty sure they didn't say it was a subscription ANYWHERE except the fine print at the bottom of the email.
I'm going to try to contact my bank to get the £39 back and put in a formal complaint. This site shouldn't be allowed in the UK.

I stupidly completed the 'FREE' IQ test and then was ked to pay 0.49pence for the certificate to be emailed to me. I did this on the 30th July 2025 and today the 2nd August 2025 they have stolen £39.99 from my account! They are complete fraudsters and scammers. We will find them believe me!
