I brought my phone (13 mini) to iRepair in Heraklion for a battery replacement. They accepted the job, agreed price and timing, then called to refuse, citing "high risk" of cracking the screen - despite having given me the same risk-warning before we even entered into the repair agreement, which I accepted. When I got the phone back the top-left of the OLED was partially detached/ loose - damage that wasn't there before. Their refusal after accepting the job is itself a breach of Greek law; under N.2251/1994 (Art.8) and Civil Code Art.288 a repairer must perform with due care or remain liable for any damage. I have now contacted their superiors to see if hopefully we can resolve this, by finishing the repair; I will update my review accordingly, if the matter is resolved. In the meantime, please beware of the risks!
I had an unusual charging problem on my iPhone , went in they did a detailed inspection of it , cleaned the connections and let me have it back, free of charge.
I found them extremely helpful .
I brought my iPhone 8 here for repair; the touchscreen and display were cracked but it was still perfectly usable - no other issues at all.
After the repair for 110€ my iPhone does whatever it wants.. random "ghost taps" on the display without me even touching the phone are now a common occurence (e.g. it just deleted a text I wrote, that was highlighted to copy it, while proof reading) and the top right of the touchscreen doesn't respond anymore at all sometimes.
