Be it tax credits, tax reliefs or Universal Social Charge, PAYE workers are regularly going about their lives without realising that they could be owed thousands in tax rebates from Revenue. That’s where we come in. Our purpose is clear; help people check for any overpaid tax with Revenue, in the easiest possible way, to see what tax rebate they could be due back. Our very thorough checks turn up significant tax rebates for most people. Through word of mouth our service has become more popular over the years, and in more recent times our customers have helped publicise our service through social channels, delighted at the outcome of their experience. We created our 60-second application form to make this process as simple, fast and successful as possible, and today we’re the market leader in securing tax rebates for PAYE workers. Based in Athy, Co. Kildare, our tax experts are always here to help. Our purpose remains as clear as it was over 20 years ago - to provide the easiest, fastest, most transparent, best value service. Irish Tax Rebates is trusted by over 325,000 Irish tax payers every year. We carry out full and thorough reviews – we check back through up to 4 years of taxes to give you the best possible chance of receiving a rebate.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, I can't recommend. They help me with my taxes last year 2024 (middle of year). I checked my 2024 tax in January 2025 and I have €950 under payment. They took something last year and my taxes are higher now... I definitely won't use them again

Hi Pavel
I am sorry if you are having issues with your tax, but we did not in any way affect your 2024 tax position.
The rebate we secured for you last year was from the 2023 and 2022 tax years, and this would have no impact on anything to do with 2024.
If you would like us to assist with any claim from last year you would need to re-register with us, and if we had access to your details again then we could further clarify any underpayment of tax that you incurred for 2024.

Fee clarification

I was misled by the term "tax rebate," assuming it meant a single consolidated refund with one fee deducted. However, the company splits rebates into categories (e.g., medical, mortgage), each treated as a separate rebate with its own fee. This was not made clear upfront. When I contacted them for clarification and asked where this is specified on their website, I received no clear response. The process has been unclear, unhelpful, and not transparent.

UPDATE- Response here is not response I received, eventually, by email. They said (copy and pasted)
'Revenue now insist that all Tax Agents operate in this manner for clients who signed up from 1 January 2025, but we can assure you that we will continue to focus on maximising your rebates as normal.'

I don't think Revenue do insist it's done this way and I asked for the company to not continue with my tax affairs, which they said they would not.

Hi Anna-Marie
Thanks for the feedback, albeit that it is negative.
Please be assured that we always prefer to submit one claim to Revenue on behalf of our clients, but multiple submissions can be made.
In your case I note that we did not receive the full documentation for your medical claim until some weeks after the original submission had been made, and so the two separate fees were justifiable on this occasion.

The new Revolut link for instant access…

The new Revolut link for instant access to your rebate is useless if you have an Irish name with a fada or apostrophe as Revolut doesn't allow that so your details will not match.

Hi Cian
I am delighted that we were able to maximise your rebate potential. There are security features built in to the Revolut payout link, that relies on the name you have given us matching the name on your Revolut account. Apologies for any inconvenience but the security of the payments is of utmost importance to us, and our clients.

Easy to use.

Easy to use.
Probably wouldn't have got anything back if I was doing it myself.
I think when you say what the rebate due is you should include your charge there. Also when setting password on your website can you provide the open eye so you can see the passwords being set are the same.

In the Authorisation form

In the Authorisation form, it wasn’t clearly communicated upfront how much they’d take from my rebate. The total cost should have been made more prominent—not buried in small print. The process worked, but the lack of transparency means I wouldn’t use them again.

Hi Joma
Thanks for the feedback and if it was Irish Tax Rebates you were dealing I am sorry that you would not use us again.
Our fees are included on the home page of our website, and clients do agree to these when they sign up.
We charge just 10% plus VAT (12.3% in total) so overall just a small price of the rebate amount for the peace of mind in having your taxes up to date and checked by qualified Accountants.
