My recent experience with iRobot has been deeply unsatisfactory. I sent my Braava floor-washing unit in for repair under warranty — it was less than a year old — and was initially told the issue wasn’t covered, despite prior confirmation from their own customer service that it was. After months of conflicting communication and delays, I was informed the unit couldn’t be repaired and was sent a replacement of a different model — one I would never have chosen.
The replacement performs poorly: it struggles to navigate, won’t connect to Wi-Fi, and its cleaning capability is subpar. After investing significant time and effort, I accepted the outcome out of sheer frustration.
It’s clear that both the quality of iRobot’s products and their customer service have declined markedly over the past 18 months. These machines are not inexpensive, and the current standards no longer justify the cost. I can no longer recommend iRobot — either their products or their support.

We bought this as I now struggle with stability on occasions and it helps knowing the house is being kept clean.

Had a problem with my 11-month old Roomba, and after trying out a few troubleshooting steps the team at iRobot offered to send me out an upgraded model as a replacement. Problem solved - Happy Customer!

the robot did a good job but it didn't get up all the dirt of the floor and it can't handle 3 dogs and I hat to wash the robot after it suked up puke and it Kant suck pee it got stuck on a sock and it keeps on getting stuck on cables and it teaks 1 h to clean my small cottage but some times it does the job

It has fallen down the stairs a few times so it is damaged but still working. I like the programme feature to vacuum different rooms.

I was worried as bought my Roomba 405 and then read some of these reviews. My experience has been good so far and Henry my robot is doing a great job.

The cleaner never worked, I emailed to advise via customer service. The instructions given were confusing and unhelpful. I gave up trying to get help and gave up on trying to getvthe silly useless vacuum working. I bought a Dyson instead

My Roomba 505 has been out of action for over 2 weeks, I have reported and tried contacting customer services and not had a response back.
I've only had the device 2 months, and it's already gone faulty, the support I have received so far is poor and next to nothing.

Im really surprised to see the negative reviews as my experience so far has been great. The 505 combo has been such a help for me and other than a small hiccup in connecting when I first set up, it’s worked well.
