Not a good experience for us.

Overall, we were unhappy with the service. What was meant to be a 3 days installation went on for over a month with a lot of nerves and backwards and forwards.
We won't be using the services again. Owner full of pride and himself.
Only giving 2 stars because some of the team members were brilliant and they helped fixing the problem. For them, 5 stars. Everything else, 1 star.

New front door

Faultless service, fantastic product and great installation

From initial contact to installation Ironglaze were available, helpful and responsive. We were kept informed about the order through the process by the salesman (Bob) who came to assess our job (rear door replacement). The door was a bespoke colour, opened outwards and required an internal blind. The installer arrived exactly when planned and completed the job quickly and efficiently. He noted that the handles were not as specified so after reporting back to the company he returned the next day with the correct handles. We are thrilled with the quality of the product, the service provided and the interactions with the company. I would highly recommend Ironglaze.

Great experience and very helpful

Great experience and very helpful - especially with advice due to living in a conservation area. The team always kept me up to date and the installation was perfect, taking into account one of my windows was quite complex. A very friendly bunch and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Windows looks fantastic.

Highly recommended

I had 5 estimates for my 18 sash windows although not the cheapest after seeing the windows in showrooms of the others they were the best.
Sales rep was excellent, measured up and left and sent me the estimate, no hard sell which was great.
The fitters were very very good, I'm very happy with the finish around the windows and they were very contentious and clean.
Had a problem when taking out kitchen window which ended up needing a steel joist which was done at no extra cost.
Had another problem with some of the glass which was also not Ironglaze fault but obviously the manufacturer's this was also dealt with no problem.
All in all I'm very happy with the windows and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Nightmare from start to finish
Door fitted incorrectly according to the guy that came out after rain came in and ruined carpet was told that the door hadn't been tightened properly and then when the same guy had to come back out because rain still coming through was told the drainage holes hadn't been drilled if cause the guy back tracked when I emailed the owner to complain.
Got locked out late at night as door mechanism broke had to call a locksmith as iron glaze are closed, no phone etc everything was in property apart from keys so I had to drive to my elderly mother's to use her phone.
When passed locksmith invoice onto them the owner was aggressive and said they wouldn't pay for the locksmith as although the door was under warranty their procedure had not been followed i.e called the out of hours number specification on their site to confirm out of hours number but he insisted that the voicemails are checked regularly even though they did not check for mine until late that afternoon when I complained.
They got yo the locksmith who would not submit a report to me after this

So happy with our new windows

So happy with our new windows, they are brilliant quality, look amazing and the whole process has been a pleasure, from the patient non pushy sales approach, the friendly (and extremely tidy) fitters to the speedy resolution from the after sales team, I have absolutley nothing bad to say and would recommend 100%.

Had new large patio doors fitted today. 100% satisfied. Left the place very clean. The 2 men where very friendly and polite, would highly recommend, shame I never got there names, as they where a pleasure to be around. Great asset to Ironglaze.

High quality work and a friendly and highly skilled team.

Our windows were fitted to a high standard on our Edwardian property and additional repair work and recladding to our Dorma was exemplary. Early days in terms of product durability but one cannot fault the work completed by a friendly and highly skilled work force who were willing to go the extra mile in order to get the job done to an exacting standard. One year on these windows are performing to a high standard and look the part as well!

Abysmal customer service

Terrible customer service. Windows and front door installed around August 2017. Within a few months two windows were catching and wouldn't open, it took nearly a year to get someone to fix them; one of the windows still sticks and won't open!

In December 2020, the front door starting letting in rain, black mould appeared on the wall and silicon sealant, with water on the aluminium door bar.

In March 2021 someone visited, said he wasn't sure if the door had been installed correctly and replaced the silicon sealant inside the door trim. He also thought there was a trim missing to the bottom of the door. He left saying they'd be in touch. No one contacted me.

January 2022 the door is still letting in rain, the wall and floor inside have black mould and the outside brickwork to the side of the door is wet.

Their aftersales team hardly ever get in contact and it's useless trying to call or email their director as he ignores all calls and emails.

My UPVC door was catching on the frame

My UPVC door was catching on the frame. I contacted Ironglaze who came out a day or two later when they were in the area and adjusted it for me. It now closes like new and I am very happy with the result. It's refreshing to deal with a company that values service and quality of workmanship above all else.

Brilliant work from Ironglaze Ipswich

Brilliant work by Woodsey and Carl very polite and done a wonderful job on our guttering and face boards in very wet and windy conditions 10 out of 10 Very clean and tidied up every evening before they left Highly recommend This is the second time we have used Ironglaze and would recommend to everyone

Poor workmanship and bad customer service.

Had a new front door fitted.
A week later the door knocker fell off.
There is also a clear gap between the door and the frame,there's daylight coming through as well as cold winds.
The customer service is diabolical with a complaint being ridiculed by the owner/manager.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Appalling customer service and technical knowledge

I have complained endlessly to the MD about his head of sales and appalling customer service. He refuses to concede that the head of sales requires training technically and in personability. In the end I felt I had no choice but to approach another company in order to achieve my desired end result. It hurts most because I am a returning customer, that experience was much better I hasten to add. I am still awaiting an apology in writing.
Following a refund in full of my deposit for the three windows that were also outstanding I am now signed up with a new company and hope to have said windows installed late June.
