The Iron Infusion Centre is a UK-based, GP-led clinic specialising in the assessment and treatment of iron deficiency, with or without anaemia. We provide remote consultations and intravenous iron infusions for individuals who are symptomatic, have not tolerated oral iron, or require more rapid repletion. Our approach is focused on safe, evidence-based care, with a clear explanation of results, treatment options, and expected outcomes. We take time to ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout the process. In addition to treatment, we also highlight potential underlying causes of iron deficiency where appropriate, and work alongside GPs for ongoing care and follow-up.

Safe, professional and genuinely caring service

I’ve had an iron infusion before and found it to be incredibly effective for my chronic anaemia, but as the results aren’t permanent, my levels gradually dropped again (my ferritin was down to 5). I can’t tolerate oral medication, and after being turned away twice for an NHS infusion, I was starting to feel quite hopeless.

I’d previously had private treatment through work, but without insurance this time I assumed it would be unaffordable (I’d been quoted £900+ in several local clinics). I was honestly so surprised to come across The Iron Infusion Clinic and initially thought it was too good to be true — I’m so glad I made that enquiry, as eight weeks later my ferritin is up to 107!

Dr Mulrenan and Dr Patel were so kind, reassuring and thorough. From the first consultation through to follow-up care, nothing was too much trouble - they went above and beyond. I even came away with a care plan beyond the infusion to help me keep my iron up as best I can.

The level of care I received felt far more personal than my previous experience at a London clinic. Both doctors were present throughout the infusion, regularly checking my obs, and it was actually really nice to just sit and have a chat!

For anyone looking for a safe, professional and genuinely caring service, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Iron Infusion Clinic. It was absolutely worth it.

Outstanding Experience

Dr Bhavini and Dr Nick were just wonderful. From the very first point of contact, I felt really cared for. Even before the official consultation, Nick walked me through all the details over the phone, taking the time to listen to my story and questions, evaluate my suitability for the infusion, and provide full transparency as to the pricing. Going into the infusion, I was very nervous, but both Bhavini and Nick were very reassuring, kind and patient, making the whole experience much smoother (I didn't cry, which I usually do with these things!). Initially I was perplexed as to how they could offer this service at such a comparatively low cost, but I learnt that they ultimately just want to make this vital service available to as many people as possible. My health has drastically improved in the week after the infusion and has been a significant step on my road to recovery.
