My dad arranged for furniture removal from Derry to Dublin. They were easy to deal with and accommodated us for a change of date. But the problem was they agreed to move a piano to the 1st floor in the new house and send 3 guys to do this. On the day there were just 2 guys, 2 others never turned up. The removals guy was nice and said he'd come back with a sleigh to move the piano up as agreed. Followed up with Kevin several times to ask when piano would be moved. He contacted me last week to say it was our fault as we didn't have enough people and access was blocked on stairs. This wasn't true, the mover guys never said this on the day - it wasn't what was agreed and what had been paid for. They just don't want to come back to finish the job. Very annoyed at the lack of professionalism - if something is agreed and paid for you expect the company to see it through. Or if there's a change/difficulty be upfront about this and we'll figure out a solution. Not Irvine Moving - would not use them again or recommend.

Moving house is hard and we completely underestimated how difficult it would be. However from the moment that Max pulled up in the lorry we felt in totally safe hands and much more relaxed. max and his team were totally charming and positive about what needed to be done despite the chaos around us. It seemed like nothing was a problem. I don't know what we would have done without them. Or without movers who had such a fantastic attitude. We are not planning on moving again; at least not any time soon, but if we do then Kevin and Max will be the first people we call. Oh, and I forgot to mention that when they unpacked our stuff in West Cork (we hadn't made it over there yet) it was all in exactly the right place and treated with care. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would.

We have just had our belongings brought from Coleraine to Dumbarton. Asked on a Sunday afternoon for a quote, not expecting an answer that day, got a quote and removal arranged for uplift the Friday of that week and delivered the next day. The weekend of Storm Eohan. Brave guys.
So much more helpful than the storage / removal company we'd stored our belongings with for 20 months.
Kevin was the best! His colleague who brought them over was polite and respectful of our belonging and the local agent Sandy worked well with him.
Would absolutely use Irvine's again if I had the need 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Used this company recently to move furniture and belongings of my daughter’s from NI to Manchester. Very happy with the service- competitive price, good communication, flexible to work with and once collected was all swiftly delivered.

Company appears to have been shut down. The listing on the UK company register (Companies House) shows it to be dissolved. The bank details provided to me were flagged by Barclays Fraud Department.

Avoid - causes damage and appears not to be insured.
Had previously used this company with no issues. Briefly - this time they damaged a great deal of property, did not correctly reassemble furniture, took away an item to be fixed and it came back (after weeks and weeks of chasing) with more damage. Items were supposed to be kept secure in storage but items were lost (how if they were kept in one secure place?) and water damaged. Ignored phone calls, emails, messages. Do not be fooled by Move Assured status. Would not provide any evidence of insurance to get property fixed. Avoid.

I had a deal for £1100 to move the furniture from Ireland to England including disassembly and reassembly of my wardrobe. Everything was going ok until they decided that they are not going to reassemble my cupboard and just left it there in my room.

I messaged them and they said that it is not a priority and that I should get a joiner to do it. I had a quote for £1000 with The Van Men Logistics LTD which unfortunately I did not take because it did not include reassembly as they said they will not have time to reassemble.

At least they were honest. I ended up paying more and not getting the same service and not the deal I paid for which was very unprofessional.

Great guys, BUT be warned, NOT INSURED. They damaged and lost a few of my belongings. Still waiting for £750 refund. BEWARE

These guys have clearly been doing this for years - they take away all the stress!! Nothing was a problem, they worked with us on dates, provided all the boxes, tapes etc, they were respectful and so careful with our home contents. This is the 5th move I have made in 8 years and Irvines are the only moving company that I have ever gone back to. Not only are they reliable, friendly and honest, they always go the extra mile and will help with stuff outside of their remit. The price is hugely competitive on price and will move to your timeframes, no matter how demanding.

Prompt delivery of all our stuff. Kept to time and got all our stuff in good condition. Would highly recommend.

Booking was very easy and they were competitively priced. The parking and things were a bit complicated at my flat on a red route in London. This was not an issue, they took this in their stride and care was taken to be sure the collection could be made. The drivers were sound, careful with everything and loaded the van quickly.
Delivered to our new home on the agreed day. No problems whatsoever. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friend and would use them again personally next time.

Irvine's were amazing at helping us move from London to Derry. They were so efficient and packed everything really well. Everything arrived so quickly and in perfect condition, luckily because we needed all our computers and equipment for work. We have a toddler and they were really helpful and understanding at how hectic moving and packing with little ones can be. Can't rate them enough! Thank you!
