Islam Tutors teaches the Qur'an, Arabic and Islamic studies in live one-to-one lessons online, for children and adults anywhere in the world. Our teachers are Egyptian, native Arabic speakers and Al-Azhar qualified, and they include ijazah-certified reciters in the ten qira'at. Every lesson is one teacher and one student, so the plan and the pace belong to the student rather than to a class. Qur'an: the letters from the Qa'idah al-Nuraniyyah for anyone starting from nothing, then fluent recitation, tajweed learned rule by rule from Tuhfat al-Atfal and al-Jazariyyah, and hifz with a revision plan that actually holds. Ijazah routes, including Warsh and Qaloon, for students ready for them. Arabic: six stages from the alphabet and handwriting to reading unaided — vowelled reading, then nahw from al-Ajurrumiyyah and sarf — so that you can understand the Qur'an without a translation. Islamic studies: the foundations every Muslim is obliged to know, then aqeedah from the primary texts and the fiqh of worship taught with the hadith the rulings come from. The books themselves, read with a teacher who answers your questions as they arise. Lessons are taught in Arabic or English, and sisters and children can be taught by a female teacher. The trial lesson places you honestly at the stage you are actually at, rather than flattering you into one you cannot hold. Lessons are scheduled around your timezone and held over a simple video link, with no app to install. The first lesson is free. Lessons are $10 an hour, or $8 an hour above ten hours a month, and any paid hours you do not use are refunded.See more
