I got a eSIM with 200GB of data (Hot Mobile) for a month and it was super cheap compared to other eSIM options that I’ve found, plus it had a lot more data, so I was a bit skeptical. But it only cost me $35 and it seemed to be legit. It was. I’m still in the middle of using it, and while service sometimes goes to 3G inside some stone buildings (like every other Israeli service) it’s more than good enough 90% of the time, meaning with 4G. It’s actually very fast (over 100mbps) in a bunch of places, even in some stone buildings. Your experience might differ depending on the carrier you get, but I used Hot Mobile.
Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely use them again. One thing to note is that, if you want to have data from the eSIM starting the day you buy it, be careful to order it during the time (Israel time) that they’re open, as it’s not automated. But it arrived for me very fast (via email) and worked very seamlessly once they ‘opened’ for the day.
