Was planning bulk purchase now to find out they trying to charge 20% tax saying it's law from UK this is rubbish check hmrc site it's down to HMRC to bill us once it arrives at our customs not China companys.

Counterfeit brands being sold on this site!!
This is one of many chinese sites flooding our country with fake goods. Worst thing it's being sold on facebook ebay amazon.
Trading standards are aware but do nothing about it. It's all fake goods brands such as hofner guitars michael cors adidas nike rolex watches hugo boss football tops you name it its huge counterfeiting organised crime.

The worst company I've had to deal with in my life, I purchased 4 items i was given a purchase no: NOTHING 3 months NO COMMUNICATION. Pointless service money wasted be SUPER SUPER cautious.

I am writing this review, after my initial review, as I did receive my item. I actually received a fast response by messaging them on Facebook

Update: this is what you can expect after 3 months of contacting them everyday.

Personally I do not suggest return as it will take time to return and wait longer to get money back. The refund of the returned goods not only requires you to prepay the freight, but also needs to wait 30-60 days to get a full refund and shipping compensation. Poor service, Mount's waiting for items, worst customer support ever, I had a parcel delivered on the sistem without to receive it. Money lost, I will never ever used again 😔😔

I had made 2 purchases with DHgate before my bad experience with no issues whatsoever. The quality was good and the seller was genuine. However, I recently purchased 2 bags for £60 (after reading good reviews, which I have been warned could have all been fake!) which have never arrived. At first the ‘seller’ although better suited to the name ‘scammer’ sent me a fake tracking number which didn’t show up, within the DHgate dispute process one of the options was if you were provided with an incorrect tracking number. After several days of trying to contact the ‘seller’ I opened a dispute, within hours they sent me a message asking why I’d opened a dispute so quickly and that they’d updated the tracking number. So I sat tight and waited for my package. However what arrived instead was a pair of cheap sunglasses, on the package it said the same tracking number they provided me with as well as the words ‘2 bags’. Unfortunately once you’ve sent your dispute there is no way to update it, the scammer by this point had updated it with a tracking number, but these was for the scam package. So I contacted DHgate through online chat who took all the information then asked me to send an email to someone else?! Which I did, and I’m still waiting for a reply even though I expressed urgency both on the chat and the email ... Since then I have been in touch with the ‘scammer’ who carries on lying saying that they don’t sell glasses and it’s not them?! Today, the payment to them was released because of course the item is showing as delivered. DHgate pride themselves on saying that you’re safe, they’ll listen to your case, and bring those scammers down! However they don’t, they have left me to be scammed! In future I recommend avoiding DHgate and using other similar sites such as Vova -although they can equally be as bad for refunds you are protected by PayPal. If you decide to carry on using DHgate however avoid the seller/scammer: hualonglin

My next step will be to attempt to get the money back from my bank.

ordered a necklace from here in March and the parcel Never arrived. Tried to contact them for a refund they said they’d refund me it’s now nearly September and I still haven’t been refunded. Absolute scam.

I have ordered several hair bundles from the site and they all arrived in good condition, some not what I expected but I can confidently say it is not a fraudulent site.

Gave up on this site a few months ago like so many other online chinese sites of recent the chance of receiving everything ordered and there bye a refund have plummeted . I have used this site for a few years and initially it was very good even when there was a problem . Now they are happy to take your money then pretty much ignore any form of contact should you have a problem . In other words very quick response before paying your money . Best of luck after they have your hard earned cash . Just wish people would read these reviews before using such sites .

I had a terrible 1st two orders with DHgate, both of the big orders, where sent to different addresses. one about 5 miles from my house and the other about 80 miles away. I was refunded for both of these eventually, and have since had three small deliveries all delivered with good quality products on time! so presume it was. just the sellers originally.

I ordered a ring in June and it said it would be shipped before the 25th of September, which is literally 4 months, so I messaged the seller and they said they can’t get hold of their factory and thinks the item is out of stock so I should open a dispute to get a refund, however I can not open a dispute until the seller has marked the item as shipped which I am assuming will not ever happen.
So I have lost almost £14 absolutely ridiculous not happy at all.

Do not order from here!! I received an email saying my item was successfully delivered when there was no sign and now I cannot contact them for a refund!! The item is not showing up in my orders however still paid full price!! Scam!!

Salve, volevo sapere quanto devo aspettare ancora per il rimborso o l'articolo che ho pagato a marzo (MARZO!!!), dovevo ricevere risposte da DHgate entro il 5 giugno dopo che ho aperto una controversia, siamo arrivati ad oggi (8 di GIUGNO)e non ho ricevuto nessun oggetto, il venditore che mi ha deriso proponendomi un rimborso parziale di 1 centesimo di Dollaro, nessuna risposta dal centro che si occupa delle controversie e nessun rimborso, ditemi voi che razza di presa in giro è questa !!!
Vergognosi, farò recensioni negative ovunque si parli del vostro sito, siete degli incompetenti.

Hi, I wanted to know how much I still have to wait for the refund or the item I paid in March (MARCH !!!), I had to receive answers from DHgate by June 5 after I opened a dispute, we have arrived today (8 of JUNE!!!) and I have not received any item, the seller who laughed at me by proposing a partial refund of 1 dollar cent, no response from the center that deals with disputes and no refund, tell me what kind of joke is this! ! Shameful, I will make negative reviews wherever you talk about your site, you are incompetent.

Don't waste your time - avoid this at all cost. I placed an order and minutes later the shop had disappeared. I contacted the shop and they marked it as shipped afterwards and told me track it in 3-5 days but the tracking info was left blank. No it appears as though they have blocked me from messaging them. The whole thing is fishy and I've pretty much accepted I've just been ripped off

I did not get the product I ordered. Their vendor does not want to send me a replacement. They say they'll mediate but I've heard nothing. I have no choice but to take this loss. I will NEVER use them again.
