Bitten off more than they can chew?

So far can't think of anything positive to say about my experience with this service, unfortunately. The projected delivery dates are useless (everything is late) and the online tracking as well as management of the parcel are highly flawed. Be ready to wait and then receive your parcel to a storing box in some random location instead of the one you chose (or your home address). It seems the company can do better, but is overwhelmed with parcels from large international web stores.

Frozen Fiasco: The 5km Parcel Pantomime

Oh, Itella Lithuania, where shall I begin? It's like they took a wrong turn into the land of absurdity and got lost in a sea of incompetence. So, picture this: I'm eagerly awaiting my package like a kid on Christmas morning, only to find out that it decided to take a scenic route to a parcel locker that apparently doubles as Narnia, conveniently located 5 km away from my home. Bravo, Itella, bravo.

Now, I understand they may have a thing for surprise workouts, but making me trek through icy streets to reach a parcel locker? That's a bold strategy. Who needs the gym when you can slip, slide, and skate your way to disappointment?

But wait, it gets better. I reached out to their customer service, expecting a superhero to swoop in and save the day. Instead, I got a customer disservice agent who probably moonlights as a stand-up comedian, because she had me laughing at the audacity of her refusal to help. I asked for a home delivery, and she treated it like I'd asked for the moon on a silver platter.

So here I am, stuck in an icy, parcel-locker-infested maze, contemplating the life choices that led me to this courier service. If you're in the market for a laugh or a good workout in subzero temperatures, go ahead and use them. For actual delivery needs? Well, let's just say I've had better luck sending messages in a bottle.

Itella Lithuania is a tragedy we don't deserve

Company with such work ethics shouldn't exist. It's unfortunate that way too many companies partner with Itella, when in Lithuania there are plenty of other options. It's hard to imagine how even relatively primitive logistics can be managed so poorly, not to mention one of the worst communication experiences ever. Scandinavian quality my a**.

Worst delivery service in Lithuania.

Worst delivery service in Lithuania.

They don't even reply to e-mails or calls. Updates tracking status the way it is convenient to them, never call and agree the delivery time time but updates it has been done. Also, don't deliver to the home address but leave parcel at the parcel locker. Zalando should change the delivery partner!!!!

DHL seriously needs to look for an…

DHL seriously needs to look for an alternative to replace this awful delivery service in Lithuania.

I have a package sent from Germany by DHL.
The package sent on Tuesday and Thursday early Morning at 6:00 AM was in the Vilnius distribution center. so it took 48 hours from Germany to Vilnius. ( I live in Vilnius literally 2 KM away from their distribution center)

Here comes the interesting part.
Thursday - package is in the sorting center no updates
Friday, I get a message that delivery might be delayed by one day.
I wrote to them on the chat about what had happened and why you won't deliver my package today.?
They tell me - oh Your number was not mentioned in the package ( big fat lie) they used this number later to send me SMS messages each time a delivery update happen.
I gave them my second phone number to validate which number they are going to use and as I thought, it was just an excuse to find to cover their failure.

Monday Morning I get a message on the number which they said was not mentioned. I sit from work that day as I will expect them to deliver the package as they wrote in the system.
Waiting waiting all the day and at the end I find on the tracking system that the courier mentioned that he couldnt deliver the package and delivery attempt was made.
No delivery was made, I have CCTV camera on my flat, no phone call was received nothing.

I called their center and the supporter told me (I tried calling the courier but he is not answering xD) to wait another 2 working days. loooooooooooool.
Package takes 48 hours from Germany to Vilnius. and to deliver to a guy far away just couple Kilometers they are already 1 week passed and till the day I'm writing this comment I haven't yet received my package.

- If You are having issues with staff why do you send an SMS for people telling them to expect delivery by that day and people stay in home to wait for their package. That cost me money, time and nerve.
Not able to run a business? close it!
Avoid them by any means.

Company having no pride in their work

I ordered an item in Germany and the shipment company was chosen DHL. Later, DHL handed over a package to Itella. The package arrived in Kaunas on Thursday and I expected it to be delivered on Friday.
Friday: in Itella tracking page, it was mentioned that package delivery will be delayed by one day - no reason. !!! In DHL, the tracking page shows that the address is wrong.
Monday similar story: Despite, I am working from home in tracking log there is a message saying that recipient was not found at home. CCTV shows that nobody was even at the gates. So ridiculous to see these excuses.
And this is not the first time I have had these delays.

My theory of what is happening: Itella is a highly understaffed company and uses the above mentioned methods to gain a time. However, this "strategy" has a death spiral trajectory as you will not regain your reputation.

NON DELIVERY CHAMPIONS

I called the itella.lt service 3 days in a row, in the morning, at lunch and in the evening. I politely asked where the package was and when it would be delivered, the manager assured that it would indeed be delivered the NEXT working day, the next day the same story again and the next day the same song. ITELLA, if you really care about your already very low ratings, which can be seen from the reviews EVERYWHERE, then this is definitely not the way to score high. You don't really care about your customers and just wasting our precious time no delivering our parcels on your estimated day and time. Most of us are working people and we can't just sit at home for two hours every day and wait if itella courier will deliver or not. The last time after I checked the status of the package, it was written that the time was agreed with the recipient, but the courier did not even bother to call to notify, and it turns out that he was not thinking to deliver, just finished his work and marked any option in his itella software so he coulf f.k off from work and when I called to customer service the tenth time in few days manager said they'll attempt delivery TOMORROW, tomorrow again????? Well, it's a complete mess. You have to deliver the parcels when originally estimated but not at the tenth attempt. Your drivers are completely lazy and have too much freedom to decide when they wish or they don't to deliver the parcels. If they don't have many parcels towards direction you live, don't hope to get your parcel soon, they are not going to deliver it. The worst delivery or rather NON DELIVERY company in Lithuania. Avoid everyone, especially sellers as it is really not good for your own reputation. Buyers be also aware as you will be wasting your precious time.

I have a delivery coming from Latvia. when I called the Latvian branch, they sent me to the Lithuanian branch as it left the country. When I called the Lithuanian branch, they sent me to the Latvian branch as it did not reach the country! all this while keeping in mind the countries share the borders and the parcel left 3 days ago! if by walking it could have reached without issues!

The worst delivery company I have ever…

The worst delivery company I have ever used. Everytime I hear that my parcel is going to be sent by Itella, I know that there will be issues. I called Customer Support 3 days in a row, I was advised that the package will be forwarded to the SmartPost locker, of course, it didn't happen. Then I was advised that it will be definitely delivered by noon - it didn't happen either. I called CS once again, surprise - my package hasn't been scanned for 2 days and it's no longer with a driver. CS agent can't provide any details, just ''I don't know.. I'll check but I don't know.'' You should really start considering the purpose of your business, even the reviews show that it's a terrible company.

Well this service seems to be a joke to the clients, after receiving SMS with the link to confirm delivery or pickup then it does not matter to choose anything as they decide not to deliver and bring it to some parcel locker. This is almost the 10th time I have confirmed home delivery and then get message to go to parcel locker to pick up.

The non-delivery logistics company

It is hard to figure out where to start. Lose letters from abroad? Tick. Take a month or more to send or receive letters from within Europe? Tick. Mistake Sendee ("to") with Sender ("from") Tick.
The latest: unlawfully without items of posting because they claim it must have customs clearance (because now the UK is no longer part of the EU). The Finnish minimum threshold is ludicrously low but Posti does one better: I got a gift subscription for a periodical - the sub. was under 40 Euros (and- well, a gift). Last year, Posti withheld it but I had no idea why or what for (it was meant to have been a surprise - meh) so, after uncovering the elements of surprise, I then could go to the Tulli site, jump through the hoops and yes: no custom fee payable. All good then, a few days later the first issue of the magazine arrived, a few weeks later the second issue ... until, that is, today (great timing - destroy Valentine's Day mood utterly) another letter - they withhold it again until I get customs clearance. This time, I went to the Posti Office. Or so I thought - it is just a branch of Posti in the supermarket, they are clueless and do more hinder than help. Pathetic does not begin to describe it.
