Program spoiled by pop ups
Another company with a decent product let down by pop ups selling more of their wares.
Second instance in a week where the need to uninstall the product came before the benefits the product offered, in this case, ITop VPN.
As far as I could make out the VPN seemed to work fine, even to the point a small widget tells you your download speed, which was higher than usual.
Then the pop ups started for their other products which at times really disturbed me during other tasks, to the point I had anxiety attacks when hovering a mouse over one of their links, waiting for the inevitable.
Customer care was easily accessed but it was the same old excuses with no promise of fixing the matter. They seem to think this will suffice but not this time so it was uninstalled and a refund requested (which is praiseworthy at least).
Just to add, I went to PIA for a vpn which was a tad more expensive but it is in and working well, in the background, just as I wanted.
So, it can be done, just that some refuse to engage.
