We are honored to collaborate with Dr. Seyyed Morteza Hosseini and his team on their valuable research, “Strip Meniscometry in Dry Eye Disease: Correlations with Standard Diagnostic Tests,” published in our affiliated journal, Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Optometry.
Their study highlights the potential value of strip meniscometry (SMTube) as a simple, non-invasive adjunct in the multimodal assessment of dry eye disease, particularly given its association with tear break-up time (TBUT) and patient-reported symptoms.
Congratulations to the research team, and thank you for your valuable contribution to vision science!

It is wonderful to see your comment, Professor Abbasali Keshtkar! We truly enjoyed working with you on your great study, “Designing and Conducting Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses in Ophthalmology,” which is now available on PubMed.

Your paper provides practical guidance for improving the methodological quality of systematic reviews in ophthalmology. By adapting established research standards to the field, it helps researchers conduct their reviews more transparently, improve reproducibility, assess the reliability of available evidence, and produce more dependable conclusions for ophthalmic research.

In addition to your role as Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at TUMS, you are a dedicated teacher who has helped thousands of researchers worldwide develop their skills in research methodology and statistics through workshops and online webinars. Many local researchers affiliated with IVORC have attended your workshops and benefited from your teaching.

Thank you, Professor Keshtkar, for sharing your knowledge and continuing this valuable work. We are delighted to see your comment and sincerely appreciate your collaboration and support!
