Marta at Jackton Moor is very passionate about kitchen design with a keen eye for detail. She gave us lots of great design ideas and we could not be happier with our new kitchen. We were also impressed with the professional approach taken at all stages, the quality of the kitchen units installed and would have no hesitation in recommending Jackton Moor.

We had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upgraded by Jackton moor and the quality and workmanship was outstanding I reserve special praise and attention to Marta who I dealt with initially in the Prestwick showroom and later at the house when she came to measure up and plan the works what a lovely person with a great manner and importantly advised us on the work we required it was all to easy after the go ahead was given the materials ordered a timeline given and the work was done highly recommended also special mention to the installer who went above and beyond as was the installation manager well done to all

I wanted a wardrobe designed to my particular requirements to maximise storage taking into account various hanging spaces, shelves and drawers.
The designer, Marta, visited my property to measure the space and start an iterative design process refining the drawings through various stages to my requirements, then agreeing materials options that were brought to my home for discussion and agreement.
I had previously carried out much research on buying a general kit for adaptation, also quotes from several joiners which would have left me with a compromise on design and internal spaces. I was surprised and delighted with my final supply and fit quote from Jackton Moor which beat my researched options and gave me exactly what I wanted (I’m pretty fussy). The fitting took one person less than a day.
All in all a great service.

Had loads of offers for kitchens across the board but after seeing the quality of Jackton Moors kitchens it was difficult to say no to. We got a supply only and every bit of it has been excellent. If anyone is interested in getting a kitchen then I highly suggest that Jackton Moor is considered. We had Marta from the Prestwick store as our contact and she was an outstanding help, she is very thorough with how she can help you achieve your kitchen goals.

Having looked at a large kitchen maker in Yorkshire in September 2024, we found what we thought was the style we were looking for. However, after many frustrating attempts to get the right design we started to look elsewhere. We then tried to design it ourselves via an online kitchen company. These kitchens were in line with our budget, but we just could not get to the final design and assured details and finish.
So, one day after work I happened to walk past the Jackton Moor showroom in Prestwick. I thought it would be out of my price range. So I enquired to a very nice lady (Marta), and I told her what we were after, our price range and our frustration with the two companies. I said I do not want to waste her time, and could she get close to or under our target budget. So, myself and my wife took a gamble and started the process. Pretty soon we had a roughed out design and estimate, which was close to our budget. By then we had faith in Marta’s design skills and she really took time to understand our needs and how wanted the kitchen to work for us. After a survey of our existing kitchen by Richard, the design was tweaked and improved, and the final design was agreed. It was slightly priced more than we expected, but we felt we were getting an excellent kitchen for a similar price.

Our kitchen was supply only and it was fitted by our builder, who commented on the excellent quality of the kitchen.

The kitchen was delivered as built units, and I cannot fault the care and attention in the transport and handling of the kitchen.

The work surfaces were templated and installed all under the supervision of the Jackton Moor team. Any niggles or adjustments have been easily accommodated and rectified quickly.

This is an excellent family business in Scotland, manufacturing in Scotland where possible.

We are now loving our Jackton Moor kitchen, knowing that they are on hand to support if needed.

Thanks to Marta, Richard, Barry and staff who made and transported the kitchen. Everyone has been so professional and friendly.

It was all going well until it wasn’t

Having spent several weeks reviewing kitchen companies and visiting many showrooms, we narrowed our choice down to two ( Jackton Moor being one of them)
On our first visit to their East Kilbride showroom, we were met a very friendly and helpful staff member. She gave us good information about the company and their products as well as information about a £700 cash back offer on certain appliances.

We booked a 2 hour appointment in the showroom with her where we went through all the different options for flooring, kitchen units, worktops, splashbacks, appliances and wall coverings. We advised her that our budget was around £20k, she said that she was confident that she could meet our budget for the kitchen.

We then had a 1 hour meeting in our home where they measured up the kitchen and talked about the design.

Following this we had another 2 hour meeting in the showroom to finalise our choices which included the appliances that were in the cash back offer. The staff member again said she felt confident that the kitchen we had picked would be within our budget.

It was at this stage it all went downhill

The last meeting we had was on a Tuesday, 6 days before the appliance cash back offer ended- we received a call from Jackton Moor who said that she would provide the quote on the Friday

Friday - the staff member dealing with our quote left me a voicemail , she said she was having an issue with the pricing and couldn’t provide the quote, she also said she was very busy and had several other quotes to do before the Monday cash back deadline. She said that she had an 8 week backlog of work.
As a potential customer you don’t want to be made to feel that you are not a priority especially when you are looking to spend 20k plus on a kitchen and this was exactly how I felt. I am sure they are very busy however they should have either set my expectations at our first meeting that they would not be able to provide a quote in time or not promise a quote by the deadline. I was promised a quote on Monday

Monday - no quote - no contact

Tuesday - They called and apologised and said I would get the quote Wednesday morning

Wednesday- morning came and went - no quote- I received an email Wednesday afternoon with a list of appliances and asked what we wanted- I replied and asked her to provide the quote - no response

5 days pass - no response despite me leaving messages on the Jackton Moor landline on the Friday in the hope that someone would call me if the staff member wasn’t available

Monday - I received a call from someone who I had not spoken to before - he said that the person dealing with my quote had been unavailable for the last few days however he was expecting her back in the office on Tuesday- he also said that if she was not able to provide the quote on the Tuesday, he would be able to do this - I never heard from him again

Tuesday- they called - apologised and said she would have the quote for me in a couple of days

7 days pass - no response - I called Jackton Moor again and this time managed to speak to the person dealing with my quote, she said that she is waiting on the fitter to get back to her with a fitting cost and would call me later that day with the quote

I received the quote by email later that day, £33,784.88 - not even remotely close to our budget.

Choosing your perfect kitchen can be a bit of a stressful process as there is so much choice
The service we received by Jackton Moor made that experience very frustrating due to the lack of communication and promises undelivered and gave me no confidence in them as a company.

Now a great kitchen design needs a great kitchen fitter and Jackton Moor delivered yet again.
Craig was one of the best trades we have had in our home. Very courteous with superb skills and experience in fitting kitchens, Craig left us with a quality installation which exactly matched our high expectations.

Excellent guidance and patience, and all at a great price. Despite changing our minds at several times, Barry gave us time to reflect and make the best choices. He made himself fully available via email and phone after each visit to the shop. The fitter was excellent and went above and beyond. Comms were excellent throughout and the materials are high quality. We are very pleased.

Our new kitchen has just been fitted by Jackton Moor.
The look and quality of the cupboards is great and the design by Anne-Marie is wonderful. She spent a lot of time with us getting it just right, not only does it look good but it is a great working space.
All trades were very efficient and turned up on time. Richard North the project manager was here most days to oversee everything.

Absolutely delighted with our new kitchen doors! David and his team were fantastic at helping us to choose new doors and handles to match our existing worktop and carcasses. We were able to see samples before ordering to ensure a good colour match and style match. The quality of the doors is great and the fitters were brilliant. They made a lovely job of it all. It has transformed our kitchen with a simple reface of the doors! Delighted!

We have just completed a ground floor extension and the kitchen was fitted by Jackton Moor.
During the initial planning stage of our build, we visited several kitchen showrooms, and it was evident that the Jackton Moor products were of a superior standard, as was the choice of colours and finishes.
Barry steered us through the process with great patience and made some extremely helpful suggestions along the way. Through the use of 3D technology he could demonstrate a variety of options and the finished kitchen looks exactly how we envisaged it.
We wanted the Jackton Moor team to fit the kitchen, but all our plumbing and electrics were being installed by our builder. Barry suggested a “Dry Fit”, ie services installed to the appropriate locations by the building team, the kitchen fitted by Jackton Moor and then our builders connecting up the electrics and plumbing. A planning meeting on site, with both teams, was arranged by Barry and the installation was seamless.
The Jackton Moor fitter was experienced, having been employed by the company for some years and the end result was faultless. We also noted that Barry visited us after the kitchen installation and worktop fit to ensure everything was satisfactory.
Our new kitchen is stunning and we could not be happier with the service and products we have received from the Jackton Moor team. We would definitely recommend this company.

From start to finish the service and quality of the kitchen we have was second to none. Anne-Marie and David were both so knowledgeable and passionate about designing our kitchen and wider living space for us, even down to the paint colour that we used. They really brought our ideas and vision to life and were able to use their experience to advise and tweak our design accordingly. The quality of our kitchen is absolutely amazing and we couldn’t love it any more than we do. Lastly, the after care has been wonderful. We will be recommending Jackton Moor to all our friends and family and we can’t rate them highly enough.

David’s design was perfect and the wall unit was a beautiful surprise as I hadn’t visualised a wall unit, delighted with everything.

From start to finish the company kept you informed every step of the way . Lots of advise and ideas on how your kitchen layout could work for your needs. All tradesmen arrived in the correct sequence and on time all of them extremely helpful and pleasant . The end result was a fabulous kitchen even better than I could have imagined There was a visit at the end from the designers who made sure everything was up to their high expectations .
The company were very realistic in their timescale and didn’t promise anything they couldn’t deliver
