Very large model kit of an awesome aircraft. Shame no aircrew included, some parts are a little basic, but I guess it gives scope to add extra details, includes a stand and 2 decent representations of the engines. A few extra decals for different schemes, such as a UK based jet would have been nice.

I was surprised at the physical size of this, no I didnt check before I ordered but very happy with my model. Not built it yet but the quality looks amazing. Its been a long time since I built any models and I am really looking forward to starting again.

Great kit! Pros: This is a million miles better than the ancient Italeri/Testors kit. It has very nice quality surface detail, excellent decals and best of all IT FITS! I've built the whole airframe, wheelwells and cockpits and the detail is interesting enough to make it look good without getting bogged down. The fit of the kit is more than acceptable, with the large upper and lower fuselage fitting very well and even the complex engine assemblies connecting without major filling required. Cons: The landing gear legs are quite flimsy and will break off easily during construction. The model is designed to use the provided display stand, not stand on its own wheels. I recommend skipping this part of the instructions and adding the gear right at the end. The photos are actual work in progress pictures. I 100% recommend this kit if you want a huge, impressive Blackbird model for your collection.
