A very nice model but the kit is very old if you are a beginner do not buy this kit it's very hard to make a lot of sending to fit the model together you have to sand the body to get a nice finish this model use old moding revell should have remoded the body this kit is a lot of money revell should a done this kit a bit better os if you never build a kit like this don't buy it

Nice model but missing parts
Bought Revell jaguar E-Type 1:8 scale from Jadlam models best price on internet. Very quick delivery. Looks a good kit i haven't started it yet. Will use Jadlam models again. Thank you.
Very large model and fun to make Overall great product
Sadly despite the high price point Revell have let themselves down. With such huge expanses of what will the body panels this is shipped without any in box protection (unlike rival manufacturers who go to great lengths), even though the rest of the parts are bagged subsequently every movement of the box results in the main body shell components rubbing against each other resulting in a great many scratches necessitating a great deal of pre build prep which could have been minimised if only it had better protection in box, further there are large and very sharp protrusions from these body panels where they've been cut in factory from the sprees. Other strange and bewildering decisions by revell are - only working front suspension, ignition cables are included but not fuel lines to the 3 carburetors, the fan belt is a brown rubber band!!!!, and it's only left hand drive version (despite the being the most iconic of British sports cars ever). Come on revell I'm sure you can do much much better - your competitors have - so you risk being left behind !!!!!!!

Purchased this item to add to my model collection, not started building yet, but looking inside very happy with the kit, will provide many hours of modelling.
It’s an old kit so lacks the detail and precision of new kits but it’s fantastic value for such a huge model
