The James Allen Price match policy is misleading and wasted many hours of my time. Customer service representatives were timely, but did not effectively communicate the reasons why none of the price match requests could be awarded. Here is an example of a non-answer "James Allen reviewed the cost and the price being offered was too much and that there was no "wiggle" room on that diamond." Consider me highly dissatisfied, I will not be shopping here again.

The customer support was AMAZING, I had a lot of special requests and questiions concerning the ring itself, delivery, timing, recommendations and so on and the woman from the customer support me helped with all of them over a span of 2 hours. And the ring came out beautiful. Highly recommend!

My engagement ring setting is not fit for purpose, and means that dirt is trapped between the setting and diamond.
I sent it to James Allen for professional cleaning but they did not remove the dirt, despite the ring being of excellent grades it constantly looks dirty. The only advice they’ve offered is to clean it at home. Which we’ve done but is particularly unhelpful when they were unable to remove it professionally.
They have not offered any resolution.
You can get far better value elsewhere.
Fees for shipping in relation to servicing should be more transparent.
I note they’ve responded to my review and advised they’ve contacted me directly. Unfortunately I’ve waited several months and they have not contacted me.

Customer service was very responsive for questions. The ring arrived earlier than expected. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I was blown away with how beautiful it is!! And we paid less than what we would have for a diamond of this grade at a jewelry store. I would buy again.

The staff on the phone was SUPER helpful with a payment arrangement and setting everything up. Very grateful they understand just how Big of a purchase this is and to have them be so understanding and helpful really means a lot. The Ring 💍 Looks absolutely AMAZING. Triple Pavé band. I helped my son pick out his now fiancés engagement ring. After placing the order, we saw a different diamond that caught our eye. I got in touch with customer service within the hour and asked if we could switch out the diamond that was originally ordered. They accommodated, communicated via email very clearly about the exchange, order number, etc. I couldn’t have been more pleased with their help to make my son’s special purchase more amazing. I loved being able to be select my my fiance's ring from setting to stone. I feel it makes it more special.
I had issues with UPS losing the ring, totally not James Allan's fault but they took charge and did thier best to locate the ring for me (and calmed me down!).
I WILL be using James Allen again.

We had an amazing experience with James Allen while creating my engagement ring. From start to finish, the process was seamless and reassuring. The 360° HD videos of each diamond made it so easy to compare and choose the perfect stone, and we loved being able to see every detail before making such an important decision.
We ended up selecting a stunning 3.5ct D color VVS2 oval diamond set in a crown pavé hidden halo, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The sparkle is unbelievable, and the proportions look perfect on my hand. James Allen’s pricing was also very competitive compared to local jewelers, without sacrificing quality.
The customer service team was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to all of our questions—whether it was about diamond specs, settings, or shipping. They even helped guide us toward the best setting choice for the diamond we selected.
When the ring arrived, it was beautifully packaged, and seeing it in person took my breath away. It’s truly the ring of my dreams, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Don't let the Price tag fool you!
The quality of these rings, in our experience, is garbage. We had our engagement ring for a month and the Dimond fell out. James Allen was no help. We could however, pay again to heve a new Dimond places in the setting. What would you say? You've been forewarned! We did contact their customer service department several times over months, their design was faulty and would not own it.

NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. $6000+ later for the ring to break in less than a year. Didn’t get insurance, my bad, but didn’t expect a ring to break in less than a year. Thought it could withstand use of daily life..nope! They said they would help me get a new one with a good discount.., $50 off! Never again.

The diamond is very sparkly — I really love that part! But I did notice the size looks a bit smaller than the same carat I tried on at a local store. Maybe they measure it differently?
Also, the ring size was slightly off. I went to 3 local stores, and all of them measured my finger as a size 3.5. But when I received my ring from James Allen, the 3.5 was too big. I had to return it and resize it down to a 3, which took another two weeks.
When I finally received the resized ring today, I was a bit disappointed to find out they didn’t engrave our names on it — even though the original size 3.5 ring had both mine and my husband’s names. Now I’m honestly feeling a bit tired of the back-and-forth. If I want to have the engraving done again, it means sending it back for another 2 week i guess, I ready waiting: 1 month (production) + 2 weeks (resizing)...
