(I would give ZERO stars if Trustpilot allowed it)
James Gregson Commercial is currently UNDER INVESTIGATION by CONSUMER AFFAIRS VICTORIA for serious trust account irregularities.
Since terminating their management of our six rental properties we have experienced delay in the transfer of some security bonds - with others still yet to be returned.
Despite numerous requests from our new agent, there has been a TOTAL FAILURE to hand over property portfolios, financial statements or tenant documentation.
Our records have uncovered a casual regard for bookkeeping, including the commingling of property data and the receipting of rent for a property we do not even own.
Furthermore, the agency’s failure to monitor significant rental arrears or conduct mandatory inspections resulted in large-scale illegal activity occurring on the premises.
This matter has now been escalated to the highest assessment and investigation team at Consumer Affairs Victoria.
I strongly urge any property owner currently with this agency to conduct a thorough audit of their statements and seek independent advice immediately.
