Worst Moving Experience Ever
Worst moving company EVER! They’ll drive off with your belongings in their moving truck, “stopping off for water at 7-11”, then disappear (for over an hour) to rummage through your belongings and steal what they want…while paying $185 an hour.
They’ll purposely pile boxes in areas you ask them not to, so you’re distracted. Then will steal $60 from your purse.
When I got in touch with the owner of JG Moving, explaining all this and more, his defense was “who takes three weeks to unpack?”.
I’ve never been SCREAMED at by a business owner, called and B!TCH and hung up on.
I waited a few minutes and called him back…
Unless you enjoy paying $1300 to have your comic book collection you’ve been saving since 1988/1989 stolen from you, and your Grandmother’s vintage, 35mm SLR camera and lenses stolen - DO NOT USE JG Moving / J&G Moving, or whatever business name this company is operating under.
He told me in all his years of owning a moving company - NO customer has EVER had anything stolen by his company. I find this very hard to believe, especially if that dude Eli still works for him. The moment Eli walked in at 750a, he started harassing me about payment. “you know you have to pay in cash, right?”. Then he started stressing me about “you know you have to tip us in cash, right?”.
There’s sooo much more to my moving day drama..by the end of the call, the owner Jim Gomez/Gomez told me he was only willing to pay $150 for treadmill repairs - since they had already taken $100 off my bill.
I told him that was unacceptable to me.
He said “sue me then” and hung up the phone.
