Made an order exactly two years ago and yet hasn’t Arrived.
Contacted them a year after the order was placed and got this reply;

Now they have changed the website name and address and moonlighting as Japana home instead.

Not recommended at all. Avoid them like the plague.

I bought the cutting board for a gift, but the box containing it was not the nice one described in the website, but just a simple thin white cardboard box. The item had a couple of small dents, which I guess were made during transportation, so sturdier bubble wrapping should be used. Since the recipient of the gift was happy enough to keep it, I did not return it.

The product was delivered earlier than promised. Also, the product was of the expected quality.

The Kintsugi plates are beautiful. Perfect design, fast shipping and communication was very good!! Thankyou Japana :)

To date I have purchased a cutting board and a Moritaka gyuto from Japana. Both times proved a positive experience.
They were helpful with any enquires I had and both the products and services were fantastic.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking for quality Japanese products at a competitive price.

I had been researching different ways to store knives, and the magnetic board is a great way to ensure longer use out of your knives. Highly recommend their products.

I ordered a deba knife and a chopping board from Japana. After a slight initial mix up, they actually got me a one-off order in from Japan, and I was given quite a lot of choice. The girls went through a lot of effort to get it sorted and it was a wait that was worthwhile. The aomori hiba chopping board arrived together and they're a dream to use together. s
Totally worth shopping with them, it's rare to come across customer care that'll be done this personal nowadays.

Worth the wait. I ordered my handmade magnetic stand the walnut version and it came within 2 weeks. A real masterpiece. It's made with care for every detail, the quality you feel just by looking at their accessories

Fantastic quality and service.
I bought a pair of Kintsugi Japanese Plates. They are superb and compliment my minimalist kitchen very well. I can't wait for the continuation of the series.
The only reservation I had before the purchase was the price, but the quality is well worth it. Plus there is real gold in the plates!
