Japan and Umai crates are excellent
The goodies in the Japan Crate are very good and the noodles in the Umai Crate are to die for, totally delicious. My daughters love these crates.

Shipping Great, Contents Not So Much
Your shipping has improved since a couple years ago. Maybe our expectations are different since we lived in Japan for several years and could buy what we wanted from the local stores, but we've only liked about half of what is included in the crates - mostly the sweets. The drinks, savory items and chips have mostly been wasted. We will likely pause the orders again for a while in the hopes better items are included in the future.

Renewed my subscription!
I signed for a three month subscription in December and decided to renew it for another three months. It’s a good experience and fun to see what you’ll get when it arrives! Always guaranteed to have something delicious. Only issue I had was regarding shipping information as I was told I would get it yet had to reach out each time to ask for it, But on the occasion that I did reach out staff were friendly and I would always get a fast reply. I’m excited for what fun boxes I’ll get in the future 🤩🤩

It's rather greedy to force a subscription even to just purchase 1 loot box. It wasn't even made obvious till the final checkout steps. Even more disconcerting is the fact that you can't cancel it with a few clicks, you actually have to send an email and simply HOPE with no reassurance till you receive a response that it's canceled. Clearly they are banking on the hope that people forget to cancel it or don't notice that they're signing up for more. Now what I would prefer, is after receiving the one box, that I get an email, or maybe a qr code in the box, that takes me to a direct link that gives me a user friendly way to start a subscription. That's how you provide good customer service.
