Delivery and items

Great Stationary Box

The products I receive monthly are unique and handy. The items are worth the amount I pay for it. Recently, my crates have been arriving later than usual and I did not receive an update until I emailed the company. However, customer support was very kind and quickly updated me on the situation.

less snacks in June and I got the cart…

less snacks in June and I got the cart only after the middle of the month, the snacks wasn't that good and you take off the bag of kit kat and give 1-2, the only thing that really I enjoyed its the katana pan, and July cart still didn't got, a lot of time you give the some snacks that on first time wasn't good and I am paying to much for shipping is cost me 65$ and very late

They won't respond

They won't respond, so redoing one here. I was correct in my previous review. I finally got the one I ordered on JULY 10th and got the one for August. Fantastic. The one I specifically said I ordered it for was never shipped and they just went, "here, have this one, it's fine".

Don’t bother emailing them

Don’t bother emailing them, Just leave reviews because that’s the only way you’ll get a response from them… I originally made a review on 7/11/23 for a partial missing order and they responded asking for my “order number and that they would look into it.” I have not heard back from them since. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but it’s been over a week and I should ATLEAST have some type of update….. at this point just cancel my future orders that have been already paid for…

Fulfillment time too slow

Fulfillment time too slow, not worth it for the money.

I have ordered my first Japan Crate 20+ days ago, last night I had to cancel it due to exhaustion. Plus counting it’s almost 50€ per month (additional taxes/duties upon arrival in Eu) it’s way too much I can afford.
It’s way too convenient to visit my local Asian shop. What a shame, I really was looking forward to try them for once.
I would suggest to lower the subscription costs and fasten up the fulfillment time.Thank you

First off it was a very slow delivery…

First off it was a very slow delivery with no updates, then when the postal service in my country made a mistake and send it back to them, the assured me that they would send it to me again when they got it. Again I got no updates and when I send an email to hear if they had gotten the crate back, I got no answer. Now I'm sitting her with no crate and no money 6 months later..

Edit: after posting this review, I have gotten my money back from them, which improves my experience with them a bit. I'm still at three stars because I had to make a bad review before they took any action to help me.

It was ok

It was ok. Got the May Shinkansen box. Several items in box had expiration dates for May and were previous items from the Sakura box.

Hi there! To clarify, the date on the item is not the expiration date. The date that is mentioned on the packaging of our products such as candies, chips, dried noodles, drinks, and other Japanese snacks, is something that is referred to as shoumikigen (賞味期限), also known as the Best Before Date.

The Best Before Date is the final date that the manufacturer deems the item to be fresh, it is still safe to consume up to 3 months after the fresh date as long as the product is still sealed :)

I have ordered in the past before and was confused as to why my order was taking so long. I reached out to the customer service and they replied in a nice thoughtful manner. I now understand why it took so long and I can't wait for my new crate!

Fun, funky flavored snacks

There is a nice variety of snacks in the Japan Crate and it is fun to see all of the new and funky flavors. While I'm not a fan of fish flavored things, I try every one of them just in case I might actually like it. I'd love more variety of drinks though.
