An Realistic Review From An OG Jawa User
I used Jawa pretty much from the beginning. Honestly a great idea and in the beginning it was an awesome tool. But they are having some major shipping problems recently. I've followed all of their packaging suggestions and bought extra fragile stickers and corner protectors, but still 4 out of 5 of my pcs get damaged while shipping to the customer. They are unhelpful with anything shipping insurance related and once they had the pc returned to them instead of me, just to look at it and tell me it was broken and then ship it back to me. Like what in the world were you planning to do?? I still suggest Jawa for selling individual parts, but I will not sell any more PCs on Jawa until they figure out the shipping situation, because right now there are a ton of packages getting destroyed and there is very little support on their end.
Called me "My Guy" Customer service.
Rude, Website is shit.
Literally tired posting a motherbaord after the hours process of setting up an account.
It wouldnt let me post an individual item it was like greyed out but I can eazily list it as a full pc even tho my title was
Asrock Motherboard x370 killer sli
only way I could post was if i posted in a Pre build PC like WTF What even in theis this kind of problem.
Then they tell me my listings are taken down untill i edit them hello jackasses you cant. nobody can.
this is why your website has no listings no activity. and nobody likes it and nobody talks about it.
try and find one non youtuber saying a halfway decent thing about jawa go try and do that. You already failed.
Solid eBay type marketplace
Solid eBay type marketplace for electronics specifically. Their middle-man type system is fantastic, even if it doesn't give a whole LOT of time to figure out if the product is solid and good it's adequate for having a purchase experience that at least confirms you get the item at all before you're out money and it becomes a headache.
First time Seller here shipped out a…
First time Seller here shipped out a Gaming PC on July 1st toke videos and pix of me packing it up and shipping it out with Label and invoice . i dropped it off at UPS delivery date is today July 3rd .everything was smooth until i get a message today from UPS saying the item is damaged and was discarded ! WTF are you serious so right away i messaged Jawa they told me basically to F off and said deal with insurance . lucky i checked that option . i messaged the buyer and let him know of the situation tracking showed out for delivery and that if its damaged to send me a pic and if he was unsatisfied he could send it back .i refreshed my Jawa and now it says buyer refunded WTF are you serious . no delivery . tracking now shows a new delivery date 4 days from now July 7th . so now i don't have my gaming pc or my funds . Jawa is scamming sellers and working with UPS . i packed the shit out of that gaming pc with foam in on top bottom sides and tons of tape . also the pre paid label they declared the value of only $100 when the gaming pc was sold for $700 . straight scammers bro . We need a class act lawsuit man they robbed me !!!
Drew of Wicked Studioz
Drew of Wicked Studioz, back atcha.
After all that crap, these guys had the audacity to send me a "how was your experience?" email🤣
This is what I wrote🤣🤣🤣
I consider Jawa a business run by snakes.
"MAGA" all the way, with the backwards thinking, and double standards.
And the stupidity and audacity are astounding, in thinking that people won't see how blatantly obvious you are...
Especially in my case.
Two 1 star reviews on Trust Pilot, and doozies, indeed.
Originally 1, but now 2 instances where you can't... or even worse, REFUSE to pay someone unless pushed WITH a bad review.
Seriously?!
And then there's the whole thing that sparked this fight, to begin with...
The FACT that you guys side with these pain in the butt "accidental buyers" that completely waste our time, as sellers.
I'm not here to cater to a bunch of rich kids that want to buy a bunch of graphics cards in bulk, ONLY TO CANCEL LAST MINUTE TO GET THE BEST PRICE.
That is SCALPING.
And as soon as I mention a remedy in the form of a "Accidental Buyer" button, to report these goons...
What happens in the live chat, as I'm refreshing my page?
NO RESPONSE WHAT-SO-EVER, AND A CLOSED ACCOUNT.
And yes- I stood up for myself as a seller after I picked up a graphics card I had already dropped off to ship, re-posted it, and publicly denied access to that seller and his/her state...
YES I DID.
And you decide to come down on me, instead of this SCALPER.
Ban ME... A 5 STAR SELLER.
You guys are something else.
So, just to re-cap...
Ruined my Memorial Day weekend, due to late payment...
Coming down on me, for denying my product to a previous scalper.
Banned me *immediately* for even *suggesting* the reporting of scalpers.
You banned me *in the middle of a sale*, that hadn't been delivered or paid out, yet.
I had to harrass you guys with emails to get the $607 you owed me, which DID NOT WORK.
And what DID WORK?
Me posting a 1 star review about it on Trust Pilot, and then *miraculously* I get my $607 via the PayPal I provided you, NOT STRIPE.
Blatantly obvious dark mofos, that like to take advantage of people.
Thanks for the ban, you did me a FAVOR.
Most honest review of this company you'll ever see
I've been a part of Jawas user base almost since inception. While I appreciate their mission statement, in actuality, they're no better OR worse than eBay. Original account was never approved as a seller. Made a second account, got a few sales, managed to get verified as a seller. No biggie, all I lost out on was being grandfathered into a lower sale fee rate! Never had issues buying from any of the third party sellers, but let me tell you, bought an 8GB card from the official Jawa store and received a 4GB model only to be told we don't even accept those as trades so we wouldn't have one in our inventory to sell. So I've never purchased from them again. Next, I sold a laptop to a foreign national living in the US only for that man to then proceed to scam me with a fake return label and one of his buddies help at UPS to spoof delivery. Did Jawa help? No, not a chance, I had to press the issue with UPS who I assume then confirmed with them that it was not an authentic delivery. And finally, I sell a high end GPU to one of our boys fighting over seas only for them to not fill out the customs label correctly and both me and the customer to be in limbo for weeks waiting for the GPU to be returned to me. Took FOREVER because of course it did, the market has shifted, I'm stuck with selling the GPU at a loss now due to the market shift and could they be arsed to even provide a simple service like featuring the GPU on their home page after THEIR screw up? No, of course not, because Ryan is bad at his job and they are susceptible to the same scams as any other third party marketplace, only they're in such an infancy as a company but they're lost and confused as to how to actually help their sellers or customers when the time comes.

Great experience and communication from both sellers and Jawa. A new trustworthy hardware acquiring site for me!
awesome experience
I heard about jawa from my brother and recently upgraded my prebuilt with a new GPU. Scored an awesome deal. The seller answered all of my questions promptly and I received my package just a few days after placing the order. 10/10 would recommend.
Pretty good place to sell PC parts.
Have been selling on Jawa now for several months. I was skeptical at first but after being on here for a while I have to admit its a great location to sell computer parts. I strive to provide top customer service whenever possible and so far so good. Fees are somewhat reasonable and are at least competitive with other sites. If I had a complaint about anything (which I really don't) I think the shipping pricing could be a bit more intuitive but the option to provide our own labels is a definite plus. I do find that there are a lot of people who simply "watch" your items but never really do anything. Not sure what they are waiting for but whatever. I've noticed that component prices are pretty reasonable from other sellers but the scalper-level pricing on GPU's got a bit out of hand for a while but that was everywhere, not just on Jawa. And many of the pre-built systems on here are absolute works of art! Lots of very talented system builders here. If your looking for decent parts at fairly reasonable prices this isn't a bad place to get them from. The people I've delt with when buying have all been really nice and very professional so far. (Knock wood!) I've had some pretty bad luck elsewhere so. That's my experience so far.

Terrible Seller Protections
One of the worst selling experiences I have ever had. Buyer TORE APART the computer he was sent in working condition looking for any excuse to send back what was clearly a case of buyer's remorse despite the site's claims that all sales are final.
After sending the pc back, it no longer worked and was severely damaged by the buyer or in shipping, Despite sending countless videos and photos of the damage and functionality issues, Jawa's staff provided the buyer a full refund, less their fees of course, and left me with an unsellable brick.
Stay far away from these scam artists.

All is great except for user interface when trying to search for specific components it always puts pre-built pc's at the top and makes it more difficult when searching

The website is easy to use
The website is easy to use, if parts are available I expect to find them. Some of the buyers have reasonable prices, some are nuts, but it's all clear to see. Everything I've purchased has arrived as described without hassle.

Pretty good deals and very user-friendly for beginners!
The seller through the website was responsive and sent the PC in good condition and I was able to use it from the jump upon some light setup.
But overall a great experience and would recommend for anyone who wants a budget friendly pre-build!

It works perfectly fine but they take 11% of your selling price.
Communist Lie Seller Ships in 3 Days
Site states seller ships in 3 days. I bought directly from the Jawa store as seller, not a 3rd party. No response to messages requesting information. After 4 days CPU still had not shipped. Their response was unsatisfactory "we had 40 orders before yours, we can still ship today" I cancelled the order as I had made it clear I had a PC down waiting for this. First & last time I will use them.
Easy, quick, smooth and safe
I sold my RTX 3080 FE on jawa and it was an easy, smooth and safe transaction. I saved a ton of money versus selling on THE OTHER site where you can sell your stuff and did not have to deal with all of their hoops and red tape. I can highly recommend giving jawa a go!
great service
Had got my account banned but Ryan from Customer Service helped me get unbanned. Thanks!
Good 👍
Have bought and sold items without getting scammed. When Stripe was not connecting Jawa support fixed it. Good 👍.
My Jawa Experience
When I heard about Jawa I was very much interested in the platform and how it's much it rivals popular platforms such as Facebook Market Place, eBay, etc. Being with it's strong seller and buyer protection I can gladly say from a buyers prospective that getting stuff form Jawa.gg is great.
