Quite shocking customer service

Quite shocking customer service. Surprised that Harrods haven’t vetted them after reading all the poor reviews below. Received one (late) order, poor quality control, paint smudged and cracked. Looked like a toddler’s effort. Other order not received. Emailed and submitted several reports before I eventually received an email to say they would process a refund. 10 days later no refund is received. More polite messages unanswered. I left a message on one of their instagram posts to say please contact me re my refund still not received. On their contact form I mention raising the issue with Harrods and my Bank. I quickly receive a rude and aggressive reply to say from their end the refund has been processed and I should take it up with my bank. They apparently now also want their badly painted mug back which is hilarious (as if I’m spending more money). I’ve also been blocked on Instagram despite nothing wrong from my end. Says it all. My bank hasn’t received anything. I will submit a dispute in 4 days if nothing received. I’ve also emailed Harrods customer services as feel they should have vetted them better. Very poor.

Ordered a bespoke Christmas bauble on…

Ordered a bespoke Christmas bauble on 27/9. Chased it up on 7/11. Got a response on 13/11. “Many thanks for the image we are starting to work on your bauble and will let you know when it is ready to ship. Lovely idea.” Chased it up again on 20/12, received an email on 22/12, your order has been cancelled at your request. Seems odd to cancel something you have been working on for over a month - especially when this was never requested. Frustrating as I had very good experiences a few years back - has gone downhill very much so.

Beautiful pieces

I’ve had some beautiful pieces from Jayne Redmond over the last few years especially the baubles and have given one as a gift this year. I’m always happy to wait a little longer for something that’s handmade and love to support a small business.

Zero correspondence and no items…

Zero correspondence and no items received. Order was placed many weeks ago and never received. Impossible to contact company. All well and good having influencers advertise the items but if they don’t exist / never arrive, it’s all just a fairy tale product. £250 down and nothing to show for it. Avoid.

I ordered a Christmas mug and a biscuit…

Edit to add her new website address: Jayneredmondbespoke.co.uk

I ordered a Christmas mug and a biscuit jar last Christmas and after only receiving the mug I asked if I could either have a refund or the jar sending. I didnt mind that Christmas had now passed at this point I just wanted what I paid for. I was told I would receive the item. Then after chasing again I think I have been blocked from Instagram and also emails as I have had zero correspondence. The only reason I am writing this review now, almost a whole year later is I have this morning been sent a marketing email from this company. I would not recommend purchasing anything from them which is really sad because the mug is nice, just not a complete order and they have no care to keep customers.

No communication and no goods

It pains me to be negative about a small business but as like many others, I ordered in February and never received my goods. I ordered an Easter egg for my son’s first Easter which never arrived. I emailed several times with no reply then one day (well after Easter) received a partial refund email for the egg. I received no apology of explanation. I had also ordered 3 mugs which never arrived. I chased numerous times via email and Instagram with no response so I instructed my credit card company to start chargeback proceedings, would you believe it I received an email! As Jayne did with my emails, I ignored it and my card company refunded me. I have seen Jayne open up orders for Christmas etc along with new designs and lots of people making purchases. It’s a real shame as I purchased a vase a couple of years ago which is beautiful! My advice would be to steer clear!

Ordered from her sale in February and…

Ordered from her sale in February and have still not received my order. I’ve sent countless emails, instagram messages all to be ignored. I’ve been persistent and she has now blocked me. Assuming I will not have my order fulfilled. Very saddened as this does not seem to represent the company I’ve followed for so long. I

Took my money and never fulfilled order

I placed an order in March for over £300, ordering personalised Christmas pottery for my children and friends. Despite emailing numerous times asking for an update on my order and messaging on Instagram (all of which were read but never responded to), I never received my order. I referred this to my credit company and received a refund. From reading the other reviews it looks like she probably also stole thousands from other customers too. Sad as the pottery is beautiful but do not order from Jayne. She won’t hesitate to take your money and run.

I placed an order with this company in February 2025

I placed an order with this company in February and despite numerous attempts to contact them for an update (and just to even find out whether or not I will receive the order) I haven’t heard anything back from them at all. If they were having problems or had ceased trading or something then I would understand but they are still posting on social media and have clearly moved on with a new part of their business, without any regard for previous customers and those orders.

Appalling service

Having ordered from here once before, I didn’t hesitate to order a second time. However, I placed my order at the end of February and still haven’t received my items or received any sort of communication from the company. I emailed twice asking for an update and both times I all I received was an automated response. The company is deleting comments on social media from multiple customers asking where their orders are. They clearly know they are in the wrong, they even liked one of my comments saying I had emailed again yet I still had no response!

In the end I claimed the money back on my credit card. The appalling customer service and the lack of communication is unacceptable.

All of this could have been avoided if they communicated openly and honestly. I don’t mind waiting for my order, but I don’t appreciate being ignored and let down by a company I once trusted.

Avoid at all costs

I have ordered personalised items form this store twice. On both occasions the customer service has been appauling, no responses to emails or insta messages. The first items was a personalised christmas item and I ordered later (end of Nov) but was still surprised when it didnt appear until 29th January. I thought to be better prepared for Easter so ordered on the 12th Feb, it is now the 11th April and still no itmes, no communication and the store front has closed down. just appauling, avoid at all costs.

Has this business gone bust??

Has this business gone bust??

After being majorly influenced by someone I follow on Instagram & from looking on line for some time, I decided to place an order at the end of February whilst a small sale was going on. Whilst I have seen various updates saying they’d been having kiln issues (yet still encouraging people to order more bits for Easter) my order still hasn’t arrived.
I’ve received no order updates & no one has replied to any of my messages.
Part of my order was Christmas bits, so nothing I’m in a rush for but part of my order are vases which I wanted for birthday gifts.
This morning when I’ve gone to send another message as the birthdays are looming, you now get a website holding page saying the on line store is currently closed…
I have managed to send a message via Instagram but judging from the previous post it is doubtful this will be answered.
Such a huge shame as the pieces she sold are so pretty, but even if they resurface under a new name, I’d be very wary of purchasing any of their items again.
All it would literally take is an email to give me an update.
It’s been a very expensive mistake.

Unfulfilled Orders, No Communication – Avoid!

I placed an order with Jayne Redmond Handmade at the beginning of March with a promised dispatch time of 7-14 days. As of April 5th, I still have not received my order and my attempts to contact the seller have been ignored.

While delays can happen, what is unacceptable is:
• No direct communication; only a mass email
after weeks of silence.
• Instagram comments turned off to avoid
accountability.
• New orders still being taken despite backlogs.
• Conflicting updates; claiming kiln issues
while posting on Instagram that new Easter
stock is ready to ship.

This is not how a reputable business should operate. I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing until the seller resolves existing orders and improves communication. If you are also affected, consider reporting the issue to Shopify or your payment provider.
